I would say Type 68 is quite decent in current meta. But it isn’t insanely good. It has accurate gun but that turret cheeks is still pretty weak against other vehicles at the same tier, even lower tier TDs have zero issue penning it. BUT, Type 68 able to get the job done. And actually a pretty fun tank. 70% of the time I prefered this over Type 71 back then because it has its flaws. And I love to drive vehicles that it has some flaws within them. Not because I love pain (maybe) but because of It just fun to interact against players who know my flaws and how much I can try to figuring it out on how to counters them. So at the end both side have fun. Unlike Type 71 only the user have fun using it but the one who against it hates to fight it. I love to have fun and love to make people having fun too, even that means I lose to my opponents. That’s why I love weird vehicles that shouldn’t work but manage to make it work and let people having fun fighting me while I also have fun countering them. Both sides gains satisfaction.

Actually I'm a fan of the Che Se at Tier 8. Great armor profile with a DPM just a tad under that of the Type 68 with the top gun. It seems to me to bit underrated as you don't see it mentioned or highlighted very much. But the Type 68 is very fun to play.

The 68 is a great tank but I would never say its good for beginners. Its turret is weak to heat and the checks are easy to hit also the lower plate isnt like the 71 “troll” plate

​@@getshrekd4982its a frontline heavy. The dpm was recognized enormous strength as to what its armor capable of holding a line. So its definitely balanced. Type 71 is not insanely strong. Type 71 mobility was the greatest asset of the tank alongside with the armor because it can wiggle before.

This tank is so good that every battle i do im Averaging 3k damage and still not get a mastery 3 it's that good you need to get about 3.5k jus to get a mastery 3 on it it has a great side armor i think better then it's tier 10 version It's turret is so good that i bounce 2k damage average every match the gun is good if you know the weak spot and the basic it won't let you down even if your facing a tier 10 armor it can cut it

Mitsu 108 is one of the best tier 5 in my opinion. Great armor, great hit points, 280 dmg per shot which is a lot for t5, and it’s not even that slow
