Love all your "upgrade" videos. I have a 69 and have already used some of your advice on upgrades. Please keep on perfecting the 68-70 platform. Your stuff totally rocks!!!

I have a 68 charger also. But it needs a total restoration. I look forward to seeing your progress. Subscribed.

cool but why some modified old muscle cars have the back suspension lifted up a bit?
@68Charger4 жыл бұрын
Hey man, I guess some people just like the look and get shackles. For me, my leaf springs were really worn out and the inner quarters would sometimes rub the sidewalls when going over bumps. I got some HD leaf springs and they really only lifted it about an inch or so but it drives way better and does not rub anymore.

Do you have any videos of the transmission leak fixes?
@68Charger4 жыл бұрын
Hey man, unfortunately, I started my channel after I fixed all transmission leaks. Will for sure make a video if it starts leaking again. (Knock on wood)

@@68Charger Thanks for the reply. It would be really helpful to me if you could post a small video stating the stuff you bought/changed on your transmission please. I ask because I have a 68 318 and would love to stop all the leaks myself.

Mo Zach will do, I think I’ve posted all parts and pics of transmission work on my ig account. @68_charger. I’ll have to look.

i want to get a closer look at those welds, the tube they welded up is cocked sideways and the brief shot showed some pretty terrible welding. EDIT: also what weight of oil do you run? im hearing a knock or something you notice that?
@68Charger4 жыл бұрын
Good eye and ear! Yeah, the welds horrible. I got it done about 20 years ago. When I made this video a year ago, I mainly wanted to connect the exhaust to see if it would make a difference. The plan is to install a new exhaust system with 3” pipes in the near future. The noise you were hearing was a lifter that was stuck. I did an oil change with mystery oil and used VR1 20w-50 and it went away.

I love it, it does sound great, out of curiosity, why did you choose h-pipe over x-pipe? Just curious
@68Charger4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Travis. I daily drive my Charger around town. I have a stock motor and wanted more low end torque.
@seppo625 жыл бұрын
H pipe adds little bit or torq i was told 😁

It did, also sounds deeper!

68 _Charger What did you have before that? No crossover true dual?
@68Charger5 жыл бұрын
muaythai193 had true dual, just added H-Pipe.
@muaythai1935 жыл бұрын
68 _Charger I think about no Crossover vs h-pipe. Didn’t the sound get worse for you? Less V8 burble?
@68Charger5 жыл бұрын
muaythai193 it actually sounds smoother and got a little deeper.
