Just shot my first shot 30 cal Carnivora in the backyard it sounded like a 306 with a lot of air and the impact was even louder I'll definitely need a Sumo for it I feel bad for those wild pigs

I had an FX Independence in .22. I more than once put 5 pellets through the same hole at 30 yards. I’m thinking seriously about ordering the Maverick sniper in .30 cal. Edit….. I purchased a Maverick VP .30 and shot one ragged hole at 50 yards with FX 44.8 gr. pellets. Very pleased. So much so that I ordered an Impact M3 in .22.

I got the .25 compact. Out of the box is was shooting the kings and hades at 845 fps on power wheel 7. On power wheel 5, too slow to register on the fx chrono. Horrible factory set up. The second reg was at 125 bar. I followed Ermest Rowes and Gerharts instructions to set the regs and now I need O rings for the second reg because it just leaks. I ordered an O ring set for the wildcat mkII, maybe it will have the size I need.

I did the same on my first FX (crown) as Ernest shows us to bleed the air out of the plenum by unscrewing the adj instead of dry firing it. I made the mistake of screwing it back in before all the air was out- this chops the rings up. So now I just dry fire them- no issues. they o rings are so small though - they are a right pain to install - but doable - good luck - it will be worth it.

I am curious as to why you choose 30 Cal instead of 22 for birds. Shooting around tin roofs and equipment ,wont the 30 Cal do damage ,make holes.

the 22 will damage as well so you pick the caliber you want and then have to be careful about the angles and make sure there is wood between you and the tin or its at an angle to make it glance off

I run an air marksman bottle, with a saber tactical valve, donny fl quick connect and a micro bore hose. If you call the donnyfl shop they will set you up!

i have a .30 cal fx mx2 impact pic up some hybrid slugs they dont fit in the mag

Like they turn sideways? The mag by sideshot holds them perfect man thats what we use for slugs. The fx mag is mint for pellets but not so much for slugs

Just a suggestion, in frame 14:55 you hit the bird and then your pellet proceeded to damage whatever was in the background, I dont think it went through but there was a dent. I was wondering what would happen if you hit the roofs, if you were putting holes in the buildings. I definitely would not want you hunting near my buildings.

Hello, could you tell me your opinion about the two models of air rifles. Between MAVERICK 30 CAL SNIPER or FX M3 SNIPER 30 CAL which can increase the speed до 1000 FPS + 1030 , 1050 FPS

Looks to be a phenomenal new addition for FX...Makes me wonder 💭 what they have up their sleeve for a New Impact? With the wait time for the Maverick one might as well wait to see what FX will bring out in February or March, right around the time the Mavericks will be back in stock. So I brought a impact mk2 and then a dreamline compact came up cheap and I just had to have the edgun leshiy 2 then along comes the maverick 😒 fml lol Only hope is someone makes a double reg conversion for the impact 🤔 failing that guess one more won't hurt 😁
