"Loud Memories" I love that. I started driving in 2011 and luckily my time hasn't been all plastic and fiberglass. I got to run some real rigs in the oilfield. My assigned truck was a 379 with a king of the hill cat and the back up was an old 70s Mack dump truck with a Spicer 4x4.

It's honestly quite impressive how much power those old 2 stroke Detroits had , especially relative to the Displacement.
@HuxleysShaggyDog10 ай бұрын
How much?
@aaaabababa10 ай бұрын
@@HuxleysShaggyDog well, yes, quite a lot for their time, a Cummins with 14L of displacement made about 400hp, meanwhile a Detroit diesel 8v71 with only 9.3L of displacement made nearly the same power while missing nearly 5 Liters of displacement compared to the cummins.
