This is the most exciting video Ive seen yet and I watch them all. Im 70 and been using the Stack system for a couple years, but I’m stuck in the low 90’s. Now I am hopeful for improvement!

WOW. I am a member of Rotary Golf and have watched the Goat videos many times. I'm 65 and even more fit than this gentlemen in the video. I play at a 7 handicap but can't swing the driver faster than 90 miles per hours without max effort. My dream is to get to at least to a 100mph but i'm still stuck where I am with speed. I feel like a do everything right with drills and working out in the gym. Is there a tip or video that could help me? Mark
@RotaryswingКүн бұрын
@@mwslove1 I simply walked him through the sequence that’s in the goat code program. As you saw, we went inside and did some goat drill work and then focused on some speed work and that’s it.

@@Rotaryswing - AWESOME stuff Chuck !! .. That's how you do it man! .. so nice to see this !!! .. fantastic!

I am 62 and my latest testing with my radar indicates around 110-112mph average .. I am now working on Chuck's GOAT Code and improving my right side and wrist action. Just today I was doing some more swinging with mid-irons (now that I have a nice net setup), and I haven't radar tested it yet but I am pretty sure I have already increased my 8 iron clubhead speed by at least 5mph or more. My biggest problem now isn't clubhead speed, I can get that easy. My biggest problem now is control. Most of my strikes were pretty darned good and I think pretty accurate, but hard to tell with a net. I did a few tests with my 60 degree wedge hitting out to one of my golf holes in my backyard (full 60 degree is limit for my yard). Two things happened with my wedge, (1) I sent a few balls right over the flag stick, (2) I hit them way too far now. But this is ok, I just wanted to test whether or not I am still hitting to target properly with new motions implemented. Now I am getting excited for our weather to turn warmer so I can get out to the range and course to really get this stuff grooved in. Going to be a fantastic golf year this year. I am absolutely ecstatic !!! .. Thanks again Chuck for all you do !! .. greatest golf coach on Earth !!!

@@Rotaryswing - well, that's when I am hammering it .. who knows where the ball will go 🤣 ,, but, I am also doing this currently with an inguinal hernia (gotta get that fixed someday). My goal this year is to get back to 120+ mph raw speed. This will allow me to swing on course around 110mph or so with good accuracy and control. I need to get my lower body back in sync a little bit better now that I have changed some things. Lower body is a bit out of sync, I feel. I am definitely feeling like a LOT less effort now though. I am amazed at how relaxed I am currently swinging to get my current speed. I don't know why I have always been so afraid to engage my right hand and snap my wrists for so long (30 years of amateur competitive golf). I guess I felt like I would be out of control, which I kind of feel like a little bit now, but I think I can overcome that with just some reps. I will need to work on flight now, compression, shot shape and trajectory with this new, more right side dominant release.

Great video! I've been a member for many years and was wondering, I had thought we were trying to avoid side-bend to prevent back injury? Thanks!
@RotaryswingКүн бұрын
@@jayorayo you dont want side bend with rotation. If you’re moving the trail side of the body through together and side bend is perfectly safe but if you start twisting your spine and entering side bend that’s how you herniate a disc.

Chuck I’m not trying to be negative but I watch a tremendous amount of KZbin golf instruction and nothing helps. I’m a 53yo scratch golfer but no matter what I try I can’t gain speed. I’ve tried Stack, Lag Shot etc. I lift 3 times per week. I hit at least 100 shots per day on my GC Quad. Nothing changed. I’m stuck at 102-104 mph CHS. I’m about ready to just give up on gaining speed. Are you up to the challenge of seeing if you really can help?
