What I don't like in the pool money game in the Philippines is the referee's chalking of the balls behind the cue ball. He is constantly moving around the table to mark balls in between shots. The objective is to mark their positions so that when they are accidentally touched or moved they can easily put them back to their last position. I would say this method and practice is absolutely not essential. It's so disturbing to watch. He is in fact, distracting players of their momentum and cause them to loss rhythm. On the other hand, if they're calling a foul on players who touched or moved those balls then he should have watched it closely during the game where chalking and marking is not necessary.

Raphie Rodero maybe it's this particular place specifically, cause i've never seen it in other videos. maybe they're play 'no ball touch foul'. its a possibility, though i doubt it

Miscellaneous Almost in every pool game in the city and in the countryside they're doing it. It has become a practice already.

+Joel Dark I bet the referee also knows a couple of things about billiard, maybe we are not used to this but I don't think this practice bothers the players at all. If you learn to play in that kind of enviroment your rythm and momentum can survive the chalking and the people touching the table it just requires a stronger mindset.
