This happened to me, about a month and a half ago. I was going to leave this song, to the woman I loved for almost 9 years, on the day I left. I became someone I didn't recognize any longer, and she was someone I didn't know anymore. But, things changed, and we were able to start fresh. Things look great for the future, and we both have had to break up, break down, and break through.. to get to the point where we are now. This song hit very hard for me, on a few levels.. absolutely I found myself again. I'll show her this one day, and I'll let her know why I chose it at the time. I'm glad it came back up in my feed... today of all days. If you love someone, always cherish, respect, appreciate and tell them how much they mean to you.. but show them more importantly! We were married almost 29 years. God took him from me. But since he has been gone, I found someone.. Very hard because half of me was missing when I lost him.. I had to find that someone again.. Yup. Been there done that. I told him "i want you but I can't have you" and he shook his head and held my hand and whispered "yes, yes u can" his now "ex gf" was listening thru the air vent from the garage and she heard me say that.. "I can't have you"... Long story short, he left his ex gf of 8yrs for me and he moved in with me and we've been together for 3yrs now... I love this man since the day I met him 5yrs ago... He's my best friend and right now we're going through a lot of difficulties in our lives. But I hope we can pass these hurdles and continue to move forward together. It worries me however me & my boyfriend broke up. He kept pushing me away because truthfully, he doesn't love himself & would drink himself away once he's done working for the fire dept. I tried everything I can to help him, encourage him, family friends involved, everything. We still end up ending.
