One job I'd hate to do. You make it look so easy. Also I was watching a Hubnut video and 6d diesels got a mention. Keep up the good work Al.

I do love a bit of preventative maintenance!! Great videos as always Al!! Hope the arm is better, I’m guessing it was the Peugeot radiator kaboom incident.

Nice work. That looked like a complicated set up compared to most engines.

A masterclass Al. I wouldn't know where to start. Apart from having cuppa and a roll up first. 😁

Love Als old school approach. Remember if it doesn’t move with a hit of a 14 lb hammer then don’t force it !

Dropping stuff in oil is just a sudden act of tool rust protection, keeps it all nice and shiny, even if it's all slippery as heck as a result... :P

I always remember my first job as a commercial mechanic in 1976 in the garage of a well known High St Newsagent/Book shop, It was pistons & liners on a Leyland 550 FG, one of my pet hates was putting the injection pump which was preloaded back into a 2 Litre Bedford CF (Opel Diesel) as it was so restricted as part in part out engine & if you wasn't careful & caught the bulk head lowering it in the preload would spring back & you'd have to start all over again, never did a timing chain on one as the engines wouldn't last that long, I think they were worse than the York Transit's as they only gave cold start problems!

A man burns his arm and has a case of dropsy with sockets going into oil.🥵I don't pretend to understand what you're doing apart from changing a timing chain etc. I 'm glad you know what you're doing.😁👍👍
