Travis Field sure is god's gift to the welding community. Alberta, Canada has always produced fine CWB and B-Pressure welders but none can come close to Travis Field IMHO.

I like getting to see and hear Travis talk about his technique. Every video he's in, so many details. Dude truely loves his work.

Are boilermakers/ power plant welders supplied with the welding machine or do they have to have one or a rig?
@arnoldvasilyev13462 ай бұрын
Great video. But what about the part of the filling and the cap? I had hard time with the 9018 cap when I began my way at the pipeline. I think that kind of video could be helpful.

Sa200 vs sa250? Starting my first rig, don't see many people using 250s. It's there a reason for this?

How’s it going ya’ll, I’m looking to see if anybody is looking to hire a welders helper I don’t have previous experience helping just looking to get started for this as a career and learn from anybody that’s been doing it in the field. I do have AWS certs for 6” pipe schedule 80, 2” monster, and D1.1. I know certs don’t mean jack in the field but I do have time under the hood, beveling and working with stainless. Just looking for any opportunity I will travel anywhere in the US( in El Paso right now). I have called multiple unions and have been placed on the no work list or waiting for a call one offered me a a fab shop job or pipe fitting helper with no per diem unsure if I should take it with no per diem I have loans and bills to pay too that I need to consider. Like I said just looking for an opportunity to learn even if it’s 15hr with per diem. If any of yall are hiring or have any leads lmk please, thank you.
