6K Subs Special Pt. 2: INSANE KONE Polaris Elevators @ 2 Houston Center, Houston, TX

Here it is! The completed renovation of 2 Houston Center is done! The cab of the finished product looks better than before! These elevators are nothing short of epic and insane! It's got epic motor sounds (may be the MX32) and the speed is insane (1200 FPM)! These elevators are special to me and are part of 6K because it is, to this day the tallest KONE I have been on and who doesn't love Polaris destination dispatch!

@@nathaniel437 honestly i love that floor passing chime. I’m that type of guy that if it doesn’t have a floor passing chime I don’t always like it as much as when it does.

​@@PlanetEscalators I'm more of an old Ecodisc-lover, the clunks. Fortunately I moved last year to an appartment-building with an Ecodisc with double clunk 😅 Besides that, the floor passing beeps... we don't have that in Europe and I never understood the reason of their existance.

The new mod is lot better than the previous one, i like the older cab too Also, are you 100% sure it uses MX100 motor? It might be MX40 unless it's double-decker

that floor passing chime is crazy. what is that section thing you mention?

It means that a group of elevators (usually 2-3) only go to the designated floor section to save time and efficiency. This was first introduced at the MM NYC where cars A and B only go to the top before the PORT mod.
