Ok…. Winston is 7 years old…. He is a mess….but we love him…. They are Amazing family members…. As much as I would love for him to behave as well as this puppy…. Our Winston does what he can…. Sit, down and most importantly STAY. His attitude is what makes him special. Love SCWT…

We have a Winston too! He was a rescue - looks SO much like a Wheaton terrier that he HAS to have much of all of it in him! Beyond adorable. He’s about a year old. He, too, has learned sit, stay, release (to move from a stay command) and we are working on whistle and command recall. He’s doing very well. He recognizes so many words and phrases - it’s stunning! He’s a fast learner can also be quite stubborn at times too! He’s as smart and ornery as he is cute! We are working on heeling and not pulling on his leash - a work in progress for sure! He will play with the leash and try to bite it, chew on it, etc. given the chance! He LOVES to run! We live in a little cabin in the woods, so he’s enamored with the squirrels and birds. When he’s focused on them it’s harder for him to attend to commands, etc … but he’s getting better! He LOVES LOVES LOVES being brushed! He is so-so about a bath but loves to wade in our little creek when he’s on a walk! We’ve only had him about 6 weeks. He’s now fully house trained and sleeps quietly in his crate all through the night. We cannot imagine our life without him! All the best to you and your Mr Winston!

Routine, routine and routine; use clicker, dogs treats, take your dog for long walk, min.3 time daily. Dogs after walks are relax, and good socialized.
