Good morning Gary. I’ve run into customers that try to save money but end up costing themselves more in the long run. I’ll never understand why. The phrase “Jumping over a dollar to save a dime.”, definitely applies to them. I’m starting my own shop next week, I’ll let you know how it turns out.

Bom dia, aí nos Estados Unidos da América esse câmbio também apresenta problema no TCM? Aqui no Brasil a Ford ranger teve bastante reclamação por falhas nos sensores de rotação de entrada e saída, tive que trocar alguns, um abraço e que tenha muito sucesso na vida.

The early units had the TCM bolted to the valvebody, around 2010 (i think) they eliminated the TCM and now have a PCM

How did the E clutch only affect the 3-4 shift? Would that affect other up or down shifts too?

It may sure, but normally would go into limp mode during an upshift but yes can affect downshift too

Pretty much same issue with the bushing being worn. On the Transit's i find the planetary strips out a lot
