The metaltron seems to be based on the dalek battle pack bronze dalek which is a strange reference.

I have the US release of Dalek Sec because the "Army of Ghosts" set came to Australia. This new one is more accurate than the US version because the neck rings are now matt black like in the show, and silver parts are painted on the dome lights. The section of the rod between the eye bulb and rings is inaccurately silver on the US release, too. I think Character Options stopped painting that part black after Season 5.

The 2015 version had a total matte vent panels which I think really pops, it contrasts nicely against the gloss neck rings. I'm not too sure about this release being silky, the neck rings being matte is more accurate but I think it could've benefited from completely matte vents

I just feel like Character are giving up and trying to push for as many releases as possible but they're not paying attention. In all honestly I GENUINELY feel like Character as a company have more than enough money to fund a late 80's dalek sculpt and as for the NSD I do think tehey're great but they need to fix the sunken in balljoints and the floppy weapons. The new version of dalek sec has the correct matt black neck rings where as the US version had incorrect gloss neck rings

The sec figure is great and the metaltron could have been better my biggest grievance is how character have cheaper on on the new series plungers since 2019 not painting the black of the plunger until the very end piece
