Danni!!!! I'm so excited for you. I love your videos and was looking forward to seeing one. You rocked that race. I raced there once and it was like the start of the Unbound last year, I ended up walking about a kajillion miles. I could not ask for a better video with both of my favorite racers (you and the Sturminator (my nickname for Sarah ;)) Hopefully I will get to meet you in person at one of the LifeTime races this year. I'm so sorry that the stupid airlines lost your bike & bag. You and Dylan both moving from Factor to Felt! Great move. Wishing you luck and better travels for your Beach Races in sunny CA in April.

@@dannishrosbree Totally, I've also found that getting off of your bike helps a lot! It's somthing about the wheels rolling that triggers them. You can also ride really fast directly at them and they'll run away.

There are dog specific pepper sprays which dont harm them but are very effective, would recommend to bring on bike. i have one from sabre and it weighs about 40g

Great race! We (Yanks) also say route (root) so no worries there. One tip, if a dog is chasing you, stop and yell at them. It's all about the chase for them so don't continue riding, it just gets them e=more excited.

In the US, feel free to pronounce route as "root" or "rouwt", either is acceptable.
