After a whole Christmas of pain, the Pentagon and American bloggers finally found a solution: 1. Modify the B21 to the 6th gen,including modifying WikiLeaks. 2. Degrade Chinese aircraft to the 5th or 4th gen. OK, the problem is perfectly solved. America leads again!😂

The truth hurts. I believe that the American elites have received the correct message, but as for the stupid American masses, they cannot face the painful truth. Keeping the American masses stupid is good for China. In the so-called democratic system, correct decisions are often blocked by the stupid masses. And the people in this video have contributed to this.

“They’re still working on their 5th gen”. They have already built hundreds of J20, launched J35 for export and are developing it for their new carriers. To say that these new aircraft are nothing more than RC propaganda simply demonstrates why the US is falling behind. These aircraft may just be technologically demonstrators or prototypes but I guarantee they’ll be operational before NGAD.

Slight correction here, the aircraft referred to as the JH-XX/bomber is the supposed J-36 as per the serial number on the nose "36011", the J-20 on it's first flight also had the number "2001". My information from here on out is based on reports from Rick Joe and Rupprecht Deino. Both very credible and known PLA watchers. As per Rick the Chinese grapevine suggests that the larger 3 engined jet is being developed primarily as an A2A platform but no doubt it'll have multirole and strike capabilities too. Deino on the other hand references a podcast where a source in contact with the chief designer of the J-36 Wang Hiefeng was interviewed. The source details that the J-36 does not follow the classic designations of fighter, bomber and the like but that it is a totally different approach to air combat. The source even uses the term “air based cruiser” to define the jet. Major focus of the aircraft is power generation and long range, hence the size and the three engines. The power is supposed to be there for the myriad of subsystems the jet is going to have that are supposed to give it good EW and limited AWACS capabilities. That is why it does not have trick engines such as detonation engines or ramjets because they do not generate enough power for the jet. Furthermore, the engines are there to provide the power and that is why there is a Variable Cycle Engine (like the US’ ACE) that’ll power the production jet. Deino in another piece on twitter also references Yang Wei who states that the jet’s purpose is to break into contested airspaces which the current generation of stealth jets cannot punch, hence the designation of it being 6th gen. The bays on that thing seem to be perfectly sized for weapons in the PL-17 and PL-XX size class. It also seems to have cheek mounted radars and what seem to be two windows on either side of the cheek most likely housing FLIR, IRST or possibly even multi-Spectral targeting sensors. A set of two IRST or similar sensors will also allow it to generate on-board weapons grade triangulated tracks for targets completely passively. And another thing that doesn't make sense for it being a bombing/strike focused variant is the omission of a bottom facing window for a targeting system while the Shenyang design seems to have it. Another thing the Shenyang jet is rumored to have is foldable tails that are supposed to fold between a horizontal stabiliser position for increased stealth and a V-tail position for increased maneuverability. That and what seems to be moving wingtips which are supposed to act like conventional canards indicate that the Shenyang jet is a something closer to a traditional fighter. The two jets are from the two bigger aircraft corporations in China: Chengdu and Shenyang and while this might be a fly-off I think that both are ultimately going to enter service. Both companies already have 5th gen designs in service, the J-20 and the J-35 series respectively even though the predecessor to the J-35, the J-31 was the losing design in the fly-off with the J-20. What in my opinion seems different this time around is that both jets are focused on the opposing ends of the 6th gen design philosophy. The Chengdu design is more focused on stealth, BVR combat, long range strike and electronic warfare while the Shenyang design seems to be a traditional interpretation of what a fighter is supposed to be but in a 6th gen format. And it doesn't make sense to me that the Chinese will let something like a fly-off decide something that is going to be in their core 6th gen combat doctrine, hence my assumption that both fighters are going to be fielded with the Chengdu jet focused on long range targeting of strategic targets and larger formations while the Shenyang jet is for the down and dirty work and possibly carrier operations.
@springbloom5940
@springbloom5940 20 күн бұрын
@@SF7PAKISTAN I strongly suspect the 36 is a drone/LM carrier. The next evolution, which is what a '6th Gen' weapon platform/package would be, is probably something like a cluster munition, but carrying small, AI driven semi/autonomous drones for long range delivery. Consider a cruise missile that delivers a swarm of drones that can independently seek targets over a 10km radius. Fly into the turret gap on a tank, or into the muzzle of a cannon, or land and mine an area, etc. This is exactly the kind of drone tech China has been researching for some time and is inevitable.
@SF7PAKISTAN
@SF7PAKISTAN 20 күн бұрын
@@springbloom5940 I don't think that the internal bays are big enough for that, especially since there might be a structural element in the middle of the main bay dividing the space but yes it's almost certain that the J-36 will be controlling tons of drones and other CCA assets. That is in-fact one of the main ways the J-36 is speculated to penetrate and attack highly contested and defended spaces, whether it be by actively destroying the systems denying it entry or using long range drones and weapons to lessen its chances of detection

Lol, I love how US pilots act like the F-22 doesn't kick out smoke. And "we have been flying NGAD since 2019" that is also dishonest. They flew a demonstrator without sensor or radar of all the other stuff. NGAD best case scenario is around 5-7 years away if they started today. More likely 10+. By then the Chinese will have well over 100+ of each of these fighters. These are not first time flights and theses are not raw prototypes, if they were they would be yellow as all Chinese early prototypes are. These fighters are grey which means they are well past early tests. These will be in production especially the J-36 within next 2-3 years tops.

The reason why we don't make Mach 2+ fighters anymore is it was deemed unnecessary. Dogfights don't happen at those speeds, the jets can not sustain that speed for very long and burn so much fuel doing it that they will be out of gas before they can attack. The F-35 was not meant to be a dogfighter besides, it was meant to see the threat way before the threat sees them and take them down from over the horizon. The J35 would get smoked by the F-22 in a 1v1 scenario besides. Superior maneuverability and weapons are much more important than going Mach 2 for a few minutes.
@Legalizeasbestos
@Legalizeasbestos 20 күн бұрын
@ actually I think it’s even simpler. You don’t need to go Mach 2 when your missile is going Mach 3 and 150 miles already. When missile range really needed a big boost from the jet this made sense but nowadays I believe it’s so much easier to have the missile do the majority of the work.

Based on the videos and pictures from the first flight, the key capabilities of the J-36 were analyzed. It is not difficult to find that the design of the J-36 revolves around key capabilities that only sixth-generation aircraft have, such as long-range voyages, stealth, mobility, weapon mounting, sensor fusion and electronic countermeasures. In terms of aerodynamic design, the J-36 adopts a wing-body integrated lift body design. This design significantly optimizes lift efficiency, reduces airflow interference, and increases the lift coefficient . The sweep angle can improves the efficiency of supersonic flight while effectively reduces flight resistance. The lift-to-drag ratio at subsonic speeds has increased by 15% to 30%, which means that the J-36's fuel economy during flight has been significantly improved, ensuring its long-term flight. J-36. looks being equipped with three engines. The geometric stealth design is the basis of the J-36's stealth capability. She adopts a prismatic stealth shape, which effectively reduces radar reflection. The innovative tailless delta wing configuration also reduces the radar reflection area and further enhances the stealth effect. She is equipped with distributed optical sensors, and uses a composite RF active aperture in the nose. These designs ensure low interceptability of multi-network converged communications and improve stealth capabilities. In terms of flight control stealth strategy, the J-36 achieves multi-dimensional attitude adjustment through fine control of 13 flaperons and a highly statically unstable design, reducing unnecessary wing surface activities and maneuvering exposure. The tailless delta wing configuration is adopted to further optimize hypersonic maneuverability. The control strategy of the 13 flaperons is an aerodynamic master and extremely simple, which allows the aircraft to accurately control the flight attitude and respond quickly to various flight conditions. The highly statically unstable design improves maneuver

The consensus now is the big plane is a strike bomber, basically China's answer to B-21. The smaller plane is actually China's answer to the current project by that one small plane company. That created a loyal wingman sized stealth fighter, but for testing purposes its manned. But the test regime with it manned have turn out so well that Pentagon have added funding to the program. To see if it can function as true cheaper alternative with a limited mission set, ie an actual high low mix like the F-22 and F-35 were supposed to be. Its not a knock on China, who is probably seeing the need for at least a stealth strike bomber. Along with the same cost and availability issues with its 5th gen stealth planes that its seeking its own cheaper true high low mix.

In addition to the primary use as a bomber, we are seeing additional and more advanced radar systems. @@hkfoo3333 There is no alleged fact. The Chinese government will never release these so-called "alleged" statements. The J36 cannot reach Mach 4. Any aircraft in the atmosphere that exceeds Mach 3 is unrealistic, or unnecessary. It is even unnecessary to exceed Mach 2.5. The maximum speed of the J36 will not be too high, and will not exceed Mach 2.5. I personally guess it is between Mach 2.1 and Mach 2.3. However, with the support of three engines, in a high-altitude and high-speed environment, the non-afterburning supersonic cruise speed of the J36 should be greater than that of the F22, and may reach Mach 1.8 or even Mach 2. These are enough to bankrupt the United States' trillions of dollars in military assets.

That’s kinda sad that we have to pretend their 6th Gen is our 5th Gen and their 5th Gen is our 4th Gen. The level of insecurity is off the charts for you to go there. Their J-20 is very comparable to our F-35, and these new jets are on first brush even more advanced. We better get back to the drawing table and get serious before we get left behind, ie. hypersonic missiles.

At the end of the day, we may not see these aircraft being mass produced until the 2040s. However, one thing that we should take note of is that regardless of their perceived performance shortcomings, the Chinese aviation industry is currently producing three advanced 4+ gen fighters and two 5th gen fighters. This amount of activity, plus the subject launch of two 6th gen prototypes simply isn't being matched in the U.S. Whether or not they are trying to push us into a spending war, like we did to the Soviets in the 80s, they will end up with a huge, advanced peer air force in the next ten years.

I think there is a lot of smoke and mirrors going on with Chinese aircrafts. I mean they are still not able to reproduce decades old Russian engines with the same power output. That they were able to steal American documentation of the F-35 surely helped them with the stealth aspect.

China has a strategic need to keep America away from their border. So that three-engine bomber looks like a plane designed to drop large ordnance on American ships. Alternatively, with a long range, launch large air to air missiles at strategic American air platforms. So the plane must be stealthy, have a long range / high speed, and carry ordnance large enough to sink a ship. It appears that it might meet those requirements.
