Along with our core subjects we have 3 main things we are focusing on for this school year. 1) Biblical worldview and apologetics, 2) Writing and 3) Encouraging more independence. We chose for my daughter’s 6th grade year, last year, to only do BJU’s grammar as well. She did a separate writing component with a different curriculum. It worked out well. I would definitely be interested in a video on what books your daughter has read. We also really enjoyed the book Bruchko. Enjoy your year!
