6th Street Bridge in L.A. to close for demolition

The 6th Street Bridge east of downtown Los Angeles is scheduled to close for demolition. On Wednesday, some visited the bridge for a “final walk.”

Damn you could see all the beautiful trusswork, and original railings... This thing was probably replaced with an ugly concrete slab that will be structurally unsafe in 10 years, whereas rehabilitating this bridge would have been far cheaper and, made this thing last another 100 years... And thats how your Tax dollars are being wasted people.

When this was recorded they said that the $449 million dollar project was expected to open in 2019 the cost of the bridge totaled $588 and did not open till 2022 that’s why I said what I said!
