As it turns out, the trade involving the Fever getting Cunningham and the 19th pick ended up being between 4 teams, and it's now come out that the Fever also got versatile guard-forward and lefty Jaelyn Brown, from Dallas. And this could be at least partly why they've now waived Berger.

TOUGHNESS! That is what this off-season for the Fever has turned into. The Fever was pushed around a lot last year and even bullied at times. That should stop today. Howard, Cunningham, and Booner are tough experienced players who can influence this young team. I love these moves for not only this year but also for what these younger players can learn from these vets about playing tough and with grit.

Amber Cox is the GM but has little to do with player acquisitions. That was Kelly Krauskopf. The Fever is not ran like the typical team. Kelly is the President that makes player decisions. Amber Cox is head of marketing and promotions. This was said in Amber Cox first announcement to the organization. Amber probably had more to do with Natasha because they came from Dallas. Stephanie White had more to do with Bonner because they both came from Connecticut. Kelly is the decision maker.

Hmmm, the question here isn't if Fever are now a powerhouse team, the question is, "how does this work?" Because Catlin, Aaliyah and Mitchel were leading the Fever, they were their go to players. Now you got two very strong vets in Bonner and Sophie, and Bonner was one of the leaders on the Suns with the same coach. So who is now leading Fever? Is it still Catlin's and Aaliyah's team when someone like Bonner is there now? Like if there is big shots needed, will Bonner or Catlin take the shot? Is Lexie going to get a look in anymore? :D I'm not saying it won't work, I'm just wondering if maybe this is a bit too much for a young team that was growing, but now has a player that anyone else would see as someone to take the leadership role. A bit like what happened with Jewel being the natural next leader for Seattle when Stewie left, but then Skylar came in and basically took that role, and it all blew up, with Jewel now leaving. And Stephanie White hasn't coached Catlin or Aaliyah, not to sure about Mitchel, but she has been coaching Bonner, so is she going to looking to Bonner or is she going to look ti Catlin and Aaliyah? One thing's for sure, it's going to be craaazzzyyy!!
