the thing that always haunts me with this scene is how emma didn’t read his emotions in the beginning… she may have had excitement blinders on from finding the ring which i understand. but nothing in killian’s demeanor in the moment screamed “i want to propose” he had “somethings wrong” written all over his face and in his body language

I kind of wish emma didn't find the ring I wanted it to be a romantic moment between them and hook actually excited to propose to her and not getting worried about her recation when she finds out he killed davids father I was looking foward to seeing how hook would propose properly

I am really happy for the two of them, but I am a little bit annoyed that Emma couldn't read Killian's emotions here as she normally does. Like even after she said, "I will make it easier for you and say that my answer was yes", by Killian's response of "Yes? What was the question". She should have known that he wasn't going to tell her that and that it was something else. No hate to the show but I just think that the scene and writing could have been done a bit better for this episode.
