I think Lyle's kryptonite is 18th scale. He is awesome at 1:10 and also at 1:24. He struggled even on his most recent video with 18th scale at RC Athletes. We can't be winners at everything! They are not bad trucks. The thing I noticed, some parts seem to be a pricey. Not always available either. I had a Blackout SC pretty tough after some modifications. Now I have the Camo TT. And I like it. My opinion, if it's not your first RC truck, try a Redcat out. If this is going to be your first RC truck, I would go with Arrma, Traxxas, Losi....

Idk if you know or have seen upgrading the stock steering servo on the SCX24 or not, but I did it to mine and made the steering much stronger. Just remove the horn and pull out the spring, then replace the spring with a plastic or metal tube roughly the same size as the spring at rest. Blamo! Stronger steering in those tough spots!

Would be fun if someone tried this crawler course with an fpv equipped crawler and having to drive the crawler course through fpv goggles. That you could make into a several round competition as well to truly test the crawling skills when no tippover panalties or flag-touches are allowed. One mistake and your out for the round.
