What better time to think about Christmas gift making? It’s Christmas in July this week on Monday Marketplace. We know that “makers” need time to get those gifts completed so we are giving you some ideas and you can get started!
Remember those slippers that grandma made? Our pattern is called Aunt Maggie’s Slippers made using two strands of Plymouth Encore yarn. You have time to make a pair for every family member. Maybe you have a tradition of making ornaments? We have a couple of patterns using Blue Sky Fibers worsted weight yarn bundles for quick colorful ornaments. Plymouth Encore Chunky yarn was used for the Christmas hats in two different lengths, perfect for that family picture. A new yarn for us at the store called Stitch Soak Scrub makes great loofahs or dish scrubbies for the perfect stocking stuffer. In our Stamp Department, we have products for that special handmade Christmas card. The card alone, makes for a special gift. Those are some of our ideas with supplies to get you started. We would love to hear your ideas, too.
