No HDMI which is use to carry 7.1 signals Optical can carry only 5.1 signals At backside output ports only 5.1 channels It is 5.1 channel decoder, pre-amplifier

compatible HDMI kit was suppose to be available.. but It is not yet available for this Remote Kit. We have to use external HDMI Audio extractor and then connect that HDMI Audio extractor Optical Output to this Remote Kit Optical Input.
