Early 70's my family lived in Vegas. My Uncle and Dad would take us to Death Valley, basically a day trip. I remember the heat. There was no Visitor Center. My Uncle had a basic Van. We'd stop off road side, to walk, view, leave. I do recall areas having all terrain rec vehicles, guys getting dirty in the sand, no witnesses.. My memory, the Dead of the Desert, a giant space with a cold heart. Wasn't a place you'd want to get stuck in, to have to spend a night. Beautiful Deadly comes to mind.

Not to say Death Valley is anything to mess with, but the Southern Florida sun is nothing to mess with, either. I remember visiting Sarasota about 10 years ago. The UV index was consistently at 9. My boyfriend and I took an impulsive walk, which ended up being 2 hours. We had high sunblock on, but he forgot to do the tops of his feet. Was burnt and had a tanline for the next year from his walking sandals. And he wasn't even that fair-skinned, would burn a bit. We weren't even laying out or swimming, just walking in somewhat shaded streets. Imagine laying out with no sunblock in the heat of the day, on the beach!

Your tires get much hotter via friction rolling on the road than they do just sitting there. Additionally, vulcanized rubber, essentially, doesn't have a melting point. It's designed to break down before it melts. It does this so that as tires wear, they maintain grip.

I rode my motorcycle up Hwy 395 that day and finally made it to my motel in Ridgecrest and I'm here to attest to how insanely hot it was that day. Asphalt temps were much higher than the 135 it hit that day. Join that with hot air pockets and I can honestly say that that was the most miserable ride I've ever made. -13 below in the Cascades wasn't fun, but heated gear can offset that. In this kind of heat one should have been at home, or inside where the AC was on, NOT on a motorbike where you could actually hear your tires sticking to the pavement. This is one trip I hope no one gets to beat for I don't want to see another rider have to go through the pain I went through. at 7:30 pm, the temp gauge on my bike indicated that the air temp had cooled down to 121 degrees. This was after my bike had been parked in the shade for over 3 hours

How can anyone cope with that temperature? We had over 40 for several days once in Luxembourg and it was awful, because humidity was quite high also, it had rained the days before and then came a sudden heat wave. Everyone kept inside, most houses have AC nowadays in Luxembourg, 20-30 years ago, they were quite seldom, if it was hot, it was only for a few days, but now we have periods, where the weather doesn't change for weeks and if there is a heat wave, it stays for longer. But we are lucky this summer till now, 35 degrees was the most we had till now.

I've experienced dry heat and humid heat. Humidity can make you sweat, and one can feel that sticky, dirty, stinky feeling of the sweat. Vs. dry heat will make you sweat, but once it gets so high, it'll evaporate very quickly. Dry heat is in DV a lot. This guy was also from Las Vegas, so his heat tolerance is probably pretty high. Arizona may not be as hot as death valley but I lived in Florida and I lived in Arizona. When it's 113 degrees and Arizona I'm overwhelmed and no I'm not over weight and I do drink plenty water. August seemed like the worst to me in Florida out of the year. The extream high humidity mixed with the intense heat. Then moving to Arizona like yeah I can tell the difference but there both just as miserable to me. Others may have been there to I guess it depends on the individuals tolerance level. When it's 113 degrees in az like the other day and when it's 105 degrees in fl with 100 percent humidity I really am overwhelmed either way. I mean nothing felt good to me stepping out side in az feeling like I walked into a hot oven. I felt like I could never stop drinking water. I was constantly drinking.

In 1994, was hiking thru a mine and came out the other side, it was August and 117. We couldnt get back up thru the mine and walked down to the HWY. to hike around the mountain. We got there in the dark, so i didnt know where we were. There was no one driving on that road and it was too hot by the pavement, so me an my bud went up in the dirt to walk. Of course a car goes by, we wave and they don't see us. So we go back down to the pavement until an odd fella in a Nissan 4x4 truck drives by as we wave frantically and doesn't stop, then he changes his mind and stops, we run up to him and explain that we came in at night. camped, hiked thru a mine and are now trying to find our camp. He says ok, get in the back of my truck and i will look for your camp. He then speeds off down a dirt road, we bounce around and we are screaming for him to stop, he finally stops way out this dirt road and says get out, we were more than happy to oblige, so he drives off and leaves us out in the middle of nowhere. We have no hats, no sunglasses, and a drop of hot water and a brutal hike in that 117 degree heat. By the grace of the creator, near death, we finally get back to camp to our ice chest. We should have died that day. No one has any business going there in 130 degree heat just for fun. You break down, you could die. You drive off the road a ways and break down, probably your last day. Heat kills.

These big swings in a weakened polar jet brings heat far north, more humid sweaty summer days in Toronto and plunge arctic air to southern Texas as mild weather surges somewhere into Canada in the offset. Just removing the reflective white from Canada can have far reaching impacts. Well, Death Valley will just spill its borders. I'm more concerned for Pets than The humans.....Some Pets have no choice because of their living circumstances whereas the Humans just do Stupid human Tricks in the heat.

If humidity is close to 100% and the temperature is at 100, you would overheat and die simply because your body would overheat. If it's a dry heat you can sweat and lower your body heat through evaporative cooling. It's entirely possible that through sweating you can bring your temperature down to almost normal. Also, you're probably walking in and out of AC and also are more protected from the sun then the thermometer.

Waterfalls were invented for this kind of heat. To swamp cool large areas. Why don't they divert a river to death valley to swamp cool it? I'm sure American Indians wouldn't mind another river diverted for that type of project. I mean they can get their water from dried grasses and such is what I've heard. 😐🤷🤦😳😑🤩👈 They are such a resourceful people.....amazing to be forced to live in a desert with no water and the water that is intermittently there is diverted for a big city a 1000 miles away for air conditioning power. Not going to mention how animals adapt to a climate and landscape that's constantly changing due to meat eaters and they are constantly forced out of a environment that took possibly thousands of years to construct by both wind and poop with seeds. Wiped out in a couple months with dozers and construction projects. Not to mention being hunted to extinction or being kept alive from extinction to be hunted in enclosures and such. It's not like the people that live in extreme areas were forced there. Fking move and quit complaining... For the cksucker that wants to say "you said you weren't going to mention it" Eat yer own 💩 you bunch of overbreeding, meat eating whore of a race complaining about nitpucky stuff that you have control over by liberty, maps, weather reports and transportation, food abundant and signs/apps/stores that warehouse it and find it.

Matthew 16:3 And in the morning, ‘There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening. Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times? For GOD controls the weather, not man. And there IS coming the time when man will want to hide himself from the WRATH OF GOD which will fall upon man. Make no mistake about it. For great Tribulation is coming upon the entire earth REPENT, Believe in the Son of GOD Jesus Christ and that He died for your sins, was buried and ROSE again to life on the 3rd day as it is written in the Holy scriptures Believe in the Gospel of Salvation, Be baptized in Jesus Christ becoming born again and be Saved to everlasting life through Him. For Jesus Christ is the only way to be Saved. 🕊🙏🎺🌷🌺💜🌺🌷🎺🙏🕊🌷🌺💜🌺🌷🕊🙏🎺🌷🌺💜🌺🌷🎺🙏🕊

No, this is all man made environmental destruction created by HUMANS who think mass overpopulation and destruction that comes with it. My Body My Choice, spitting out as many kids as you want is NOT OKAY. The Bible was written by ancient men, not god, no such thing. Rules to keep people obeying laws. Also, if you ever watch religious shows, it's always wars and violence.
