Under heaving breaking I notice the steering wheel "vibrate" side to side, is that the surface of the track causing this or are you actively trying to get the front to bite more/find traction for braking? Edit: I'm guessing a bit of both ... haha. In a normal civilian road car I would say warped rotors but obviously this isn't the case!

Not really. To be honest, in my view all cars are almost equally fun when driving hard on the Ring. From a Swift to an RS. Because you use the car at it’s limits it remains a challenge and fun. The big difference is the speed and ease how it goes to it’s limit. Greets!

I notice from 3:29 after passing the yellow car to 5:55 where you are held up, you have a pretty unabated run. I'm wondering what it would look like if you compiled the most unabated sections you can find on your various drives to make one lap that's probably even quicker than this.

Good idea! Best sector times. My best time so far is 8 seconds faster but also with some traffic. I think that I could achieve a 7:10-15” with my car in it’s stock condition and keeping some reserve for safety. Greets!

Thanks! Much faster in the GT3RS. Fastest in the GT4 was 7:34” and the GT3RS is 7:21” at the moment. I think I could get it somewhere in the :10”’s with stock setup and keeping a safety margin. Greets!

@@RingRennSport Thanks for the reply. I have a friend that has a 2015 Cayman S and recently got a 2013 Carrera S. It took him some time to get his 911 times close to the Cayman times primarily due to the differences in handling through turns (Thunderhill Raceway in N. California). It'll be interesting to see where this goes because his caresare closer in performance than yours I think. Good luck in getting down to the :10s!

Is your fiat a manual? If not do you miss driving manual? Ppl who upgrade to racing machines like this gt3 rs usually say they don't miss driving manual. Gt3 such a wonderful car. Great driving and sound.

Yep the Fiat is a manual but that’s not really a reference :D Like you suggested, I don’t really miss the manual from my GT4. The RS is so fast and explosive that there are more ups in fun to compensate for not having a manual.

Hi. Good question. 1km on the Nordschleife is about 15-20km normal road use. So when brands develop and test their cars on the Nordschleife they do about 500laps/car which is about 150.000km’s normal road use.

Your driving style is very good for an mid engine car. If you wanna be faster and safer with your 911, you should drive the car under load when ever its possible. Rolling through corners makes an rear engine car always unstable and slower. Try brake earlier and drive through corners under heavy load. You can control the amount of understeer with power and don't get this wiggle on the rear. From watching it seems a bit like you don't trust the car on throttle. This car won't let you down in corners ON trottle, but it will bite you one day if you release the throttle (if you don't change your driving)...

Right. But if he feels better driving like this, then he should do it like he feels good. If he's trying to brake earlier and go through the corners on throttle isn't good if he doesn't feel confident. When he becomes scared and go off the throttle while driving through the corner, the car will say byebye ;)
