7.3L 5in Diamond Eye Cat-back Exhaust install |OBS Ford Powerstroke|

In this video Ben and Casey installed a Diamond Eye 5in exhaust for a 1994.5-1997 Ford F-250/F-350 with a Powestroke 7.3L diesel. They also ended up axle dumping the exhaust for extra sound and cool factor.

Can you put this set up on a 1990 F250 7.3 4x4 with an aftermarket ATS TURBO? My year was pre-Turbo before installed.

I want to buy a kit like this for my 97 7.3. I don’t have a welder. Are the hangers already welded to the exhaust? And how did you get the new exhaust to work with the factory down pipe?

Just be prepared because it is a tight fit!! The hangers are not welded to the exhaust they bolt to it with a pinch type clamp. The only reason I had the welder out was because one of the hangers didn’t hang low enough and I couldn’t get it to clear the fuel tank crossmember so I just cut and extended it. As far as fitment from factory down pipe, our kit came with an adapter that goes from 3.5-5.

We didn’t put the down pipe on because to make it fit you have to massage the fire wall…

The reason we beat the over axle piece of exhaust was to make sure the pipe fit under the truck without hitting any cross members
