Great video! Watched to make sure I wasn't missing anything after testing him for hours and figuring it out myself. I just got Furina's C2 so now with that combined with my C2R1 Nahida and C0R1 Al Haitham plus Kuki, his team absolutely shreds everything. Another really fun team to play which I haven't really seen anywhere is Al Haitham, Raiden, Nahida, Zhongli. Use Al Haitham's E+Plunge+NA -> 3-mirror-Burst and then swap to Raiden and use her burst as normal. It's surprisingly good for a dual carry team and Raiden's energy refund helps with the crazy amount of energy Al Haitham needs to get his burst back when mostly off-field.

Marechausse is his BiS ONLY If you're running him with Furina and ONLY if you've got a great healer like Baizhu or Jean. Otherwise his BiS is still Gilded Dreams, no contest. Furina is better utilised with plunge Xianyun teams or Powerwash teams. Furina in Dendro teams is more of a hinderance than anything as her hydro application is dookie.

@@thebuddhasmiles it's actually the opposite, furinas slow hydro application makes her better in dendro teams because it allows you to have more consistent quicken uptime thanks to the aura not being consumed by too much hydro and it allows you to still get some hyperblooms which is just free damage. Fast hydro app like xingqiu gets wasted thanks to the hyperbloom cap of only 2 doing damage at any given time and it makes quicken impossible. Furina is amazing in dendro teams. Most people also opt out of using a full party healer like baizhu and jean and just rely on kuki which isn't perfect but leaves room for nahida and she can hold proto amber if needed.

I'm still reluctant to part Alhaitham with his Gilded dream artifact due to his skill and burst do scale of EM which the set provides and good artifact stats can make up the lost of crit rate provided by the Marachausse Hunter set. Replacing Xingqiu with Furina is a smart move due to Kuki elemental skill which certainly provide excess healing, boosting Furina burst. I'll certainly do this as I need to free my Xingqiu for my other team. Great video BTW.

the thing about marechaussee is that its not that it just gives you free crit rate. it allows you to build more EM in your substats. 180 EM that gilded gives in double dendro is equal to ~18 low rolls of EM. 36% crit rate that marechaussee gives is ~10 high rolls crit rate. add to the fact that EM has diminishing returns that can be reached very easily with nahida's buff, crit rate has no diminishing returns at all before 100%, making it a much more valuable stat for your damage output. and this is not counting the 15% NA and CA dmg bonus, that also buffs the spread damage those attacks do.

marechaussee is good on alhaitham, but with good artifact building i think gilded still better for high end build/high investment. his scaling and A2 passive are benefit from EM, spread reaction also scale from EM. alhaitham already have high dmg multiplier from his scaling, A2 passive and dendro dmg bonus ascension also em is really good if youre using his signature. i don't really think stacking CDM better than stacking EM.

Yes only some very very fast animations can fit in because ping influences your switch. So 200ms is actually 400ms lost for a swap combo, and that's almost half a second.

I'm currently building alhaitham burgeon with thoma as I don't have kuki yet, hopefully someday I can run a curry team, but I think that needs a lot if work to be optimized. It'll probably be less able to take advantage of alhaithams personal damage/spreads but maybe the aoe can make up for it? Do you have any thoughts on burgeon or curry teams?

Personally I don't like these kind of teams (especially for Alhaitham) but what you said is correct, you are losing on personal damage but getting AoE out of it so it's not completely out of question. I find a more classic approach to work better for a character like Alhaitham but when I need different elements I think they work amazingly. There was an Abyss before Fontaine that really encouraged these kind of teams, I think it was because of a Baptist + other element checks.

You don't have many choices to be honest. Fischl is probably better over solo electro Beidou but going for both is an idea. If the team includes Furina you have to bring a healer so Yaoyao, Fischl, Furina, Alhaitham is a decent choice. Or ditch Furina with Alhaitham, Fischl, Beidou, Yaoyao.

Are quickbloom or hyperblooms better teams in general for Alhaitham? I currently have an aggravate/quicken team with Alhaitham/Ei/Baizhu/Yae Miko. Is that a decent lineup for aggravate/quicken team? Id have Nahida but she's on another team. Also, since i dont have Furina, do i still need the Marechaussee set for Alhaitham or is he fine with Gilded Dreams set?

Some Quickbloom teams can be better for Alhaitham yes but there's nothing wrong with your team and it's completely fine. If you ever decide to play Furina with him you can use Marechaussee but it's not a must, Gilded will be ok. But if you have a good Marechaussee set, definitely use it. It's going to be stronger than Gilded on average even if it has a little lower total stats.

i have a question about BIS artifacts for an Alhaitham team. For Alhaitham c6 Furina c6 Nahida c3 is hunters best for both Alhaitham and Furina or would you keep Furina on Golden? Also is Kuki or Raiden (hyperbloom build) better for this team?

Any Spread or Quickbloom team is fine. Alhaitham + 2nd Dendro unit and then either 2 Electro, 1 Electro 1 flex or adding Hydro all make decent comps. It depends on what you have

In that team I went full EM with as much HP% as possible as substats. Generally for Hyperbloom damage you want the highest level and EM you can possibly get but it's ok to get some HP% subs or even a Healing Bonus circlet if staying alive is hard.

Zhongli's value depends on you. He can be the best unit ever if you need a long lasting and VERY strong shield. If you don't value it as much, a character that is more "offensive" like Furina is much better in terms of team's damage and options. I'd pick Furina over Zhongli any day but that doesn't apply to everyone. It probably also depends on which healers and how much Hydro units you have already.

If you are looking for a 2nd Dendro then Yaoyao, Collei, Baizhu, DMC and Kirara all do a decent job at keeping up Deepwood debuff. I guess it depends on the rest of the team and which one you have already.

Althaitam feels like Dendro Childe long cooldown elemental infusion and too reliant skill and burst only instead Dendro Ayaka described discomfort not up time use elemental damage when his default damage is physical not dendro despite Nahida low scaling multiplier normal and charge attack

Harbinger of Dawn if you've got nothing else, but make sure to run him with a healer/shielder. Iron Sting and Toukubaku Shigure are also good on him, but I wouldn't really recommend them over HoD. Battlepass sword (Wolf's Fang) if you've got it.

Hear me out: If your using furina for your alhaitham team please do this On kuki use instructor swt and sapwood blade r5 much better My gilded is way better than my mh set but Im using a crit rate weapin and not crit dmg so dont really know the difference I also tested that furina is much suitable to use the deepwood set than nahida specially of multi wave content so that you sont have to switch ang can continue your alhaitham combo And you can stack as much as possible em for nahida using gilded that can also help buffing alhaitham more Thats all hope it helps
