people have started placing shortcut buttons right on top or around the smart lights and other smart devices, to be controlled within the vision pro! just amazing

The only thing I would not use is the widgets because what I love about the Apple Vision Pro is the passthrough is so good I can glance at my watch easily 😊 without needing to lift the headset! but I loved all the other apps you mentioned! Thanks so much!🎉

When you demonstrated MindNode, I actually preferred the free-standing buttons (4:13) that you could drag around in the 3D space over the mind-map that was in the window. The window is fine, but in future developments, it would be awesome if the entire mind-mapping experience was in the 3-dimensional space instead of on a floating flat window. The window is still helpful, but it's time for developers to start thinking in 3D with objects we can interact with in a real space... even spreadsheets, emails, Word docs and PDFs should be treated like physical objects instead of confined to a window. Excellent video. I'm happy you mentioned FreeForm too.

you can use your fingers to swipe and push things not just pinching

Finally! You’re the only KZbinr I’ve found that has figured out how to present this. No one wants to see you in the headset talking at camera. We want to see you using the device through your eyes. Thank you for showing how it is done!
@midnightrampage96277 ай бұрын
There are at least a dozen KZbinrs that have shown Apple vision pro through 1st person.

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed the screen recordings. I debated about including more video of me using it but I was tight on time to get this video published.
@TheTechOrc7 ай бұрын
@@midnightrampage9627 yes, but they also talk at the camera with it on or are recording themselves with a camera with all the flood lighting so that their first person view has all this camera gear in front of them. From a consumer perspective trying to figure out what it’s like using the device, I’m distracted by all the circle lights and camera gear in front of them. It’s much better to record yourself using it in “normal” conditions and then formulate your commentary later.

Can you write like a whiteboard on Freeform?

It was a good decision as the video is about apps and not the headset itself

Sounds lame, but can you sample the MS Office apps on this?! I’m trying to justify a purchase if I can make this a WFH beast.
@EricWelander7 ай бұрын
Great question! Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams are all there. You can also sign into OneDrive, Box, and Dropbox accounts inside of those apps as well. I haven’t used them extensively but they look to be good apps. Giant Excel sheets will be nice 🤓

LOL. No!!!! You MUST use this so you can use your calendar, mind mapping/diagraming apps and of course (so it’s related to smart home tech) the home app. You know, the same one on every apple device.

It has Safari, so you can probably do whatever you normally do in Safari on it. I haven't tried because I really don't care about that, personally.

There are no film restrictions, some adult films you’d want to watch may even have a 3D variant!

Don't lie. How can you work all day with such a scary thing on your head? Are you serious?😮😮😮
@EricWelander7 ай бұрын
With this first generation I agree you can’t work all day, but I can do a few hours at once. Something like a focused work session in the morning or afternoon or maybe both with a break in the middle.
@babybirdhome7 ай бұрын
I wore mine just fine for about 5 hours straight on my first day. Some people need to switch to the other headband for it to be comfortable that long, but it's not hard.

A good use of KZbin platform in providing Vision Pro “friendly” apps. Oh, and the Tim Cook haircut looks stylish, although I’m concerned you’re getting sucked in to the Apple ecosystem system. 😂❤🎉

Finally a KZbinr who shows the home app i wanted to know what it looked like with cameras because your completely emerged in this device but having cameras to watch around your home allows you to be situationally aware

My issue with it is the field of view. It is too narrow and I get motion sick so easily. Also, the apps are not so useful at the moment, it is more like a toy than an actual tool. Looking forward to when better apps are available.

Great content and thanks for putting it together but your loud high pitched monotone delivery givers me a headache. Speak to us like we're in the room with you and your delivery will feel more polished. Reminds me of a new radio DJ vs the same guy 10 years later with a more relaxed voice.

I still don't get the point of Juno. Just open up Safari? So far I've basically found zero apps. Even you admitted the Home app is just solved by Siri. Quest 2 had way more content. Couldn't even control my Macbook via the mirroring or adjust the aspect ratio. Got a better setup with the samsung ultrawide and an ipad to monitor security cameras. I want to like it, but probably just going to return it.

What ur experience on 3d movies
@EricWelander7 ай бұрын
It looks better than any other 3D movie experience I’ve tried but it’s been a while since I went to a 3D movie so I don’t know if I’m the best person to judge that

I think they're as good as in the theater, but better (and quieter and have your own snacks and intermissions). However, the one thing I haven't seen many people talking about is the new Apple Immersive Video that they're demo-ing in Apple TV with the launch. That is going to change entertainment forever once people start using it. It makes the best 3D movies you've ever seen feel like 2D. It's an insane improvement over traditional 3D video - coupled with the spatial audio, it really does trick your brain into thinking you're actually in the environment you're seeing. It goes way beyond just video or traditional 3D.
