I also have a sealed combat boxed, glue sealed but it's bashed and has writing on on the top corners, "Free" written on one side and "2600" on the other side. Still happy to have it

WATA is a joke , I had a friend who sent in a game and he didn't like the grade so he sent it back again, well imagine that it got a different grade, but lucky for him it went higher . From a 7.5 to 8.5 .

Great video. I've just started to collect sealed Atari 2600. I have picked up an orange factory sealed street racer which has the plastic sealing still on. Have you came across one with the plastic wrapping before? Is it worth sending to WADA? It's dated 1978 on the box.

A lot of collectors don't get how difficult it is to find sealed Atari games in mint condition - but they are catching on. While there are about 50 titles that exist in sealed case packs sitting in warehouses, there were over 500 games for that system, so hundreds of those titles are super-tough to get in sealed condition. We always recommend sending vintage games in for grading as soon as possible. It is very easy to damage those early paper boxes, so the sooner it's in a holder, the better. While Street Racer is not super-rare, if it's high-grade it's still worth grading - in our opinion.

I got Frankensteins Monster just the cart yesterday, its really fun although frustrating. Im glad the money I do spend on games is spent on games I can play and have fun with. I'm glad you have a hobby you enjoy and I hope your investments work out.

I have a large Atari collection... 100s of games and dozens of early release boxed games, and then a bunch of sealed late release games that aren't worth much. I never saw the appeal of sealed games. I like having the box and the instructions and all... but I guess "rarity" just doesn't matter to me as much as having the games I really enjoyed as a kid.

I read all the time that Atari has a coin. Who can tell me more about it?
@CertifiedCollectibles3 жыл бұрын
There was a series of Pac-Man coins recently released, I'm not sure if those are the ones to which you're referring, but those were the most recent legal-tender coins struck.

My time is more rare than these games.. you repeated yourself so heavily. Interesting content, but I'm brow-beaten so you can reach your 10 minute mark.
