I am not sure why but those hotel staff at this 5 star hotel were kind of cold. Not very friendly unlike k.l and Penang. I greeted everyone with a smile and said hello and asked politely but didn’t feel the warmth here in Melaka. I wonder why.😢

Hm..looks like everybody loves Malacca! How do you get there from Kuala Lumpur.I always love your history lessons,one of my favourite Malaysians is Jimmy Choo...and then you...I am very interested in the Portuguese settlement,are there any interesting places to visit in Malacca (besides the food,of course)!
@CKology6 ай бұрын
Aww so sweet of you. Jimmy is from my hometown of Penang. I will do more video on Penang and KL in the coming months. Best to rent a car and drive to Melaka, it's a magical place.

If you could feature malay or indian stall/restaurants as well, would be great. Your videos, while really good (i love the ones on penang!), seem to gravitate more towards chinese stalls/restaurants.

My guess that most shops close on Wednesday because it is the middle of weekends.
@CKology5 ай бұрын
In Penang it is Tuesday
@binglim15 ай бұрын
I think Melaka has more weekends and long weekends visitors from KL and Singapore. With a public holiday on Fridays or Mondays people would tag an extra day on either end. Hence Wednesday would be the least busiest. That's my guess anyway.

There are many more heritage food in Melaka than these. Taukwah hailam, mee rebus @ padang temu or @kee ann road, nyonyah food @Lin's kitchen by Baba Ricky or @Bulldog, roti canai @Madras cafe (very old cafe older than me - I am 73 yo), Yee Wat for mee rebus and yong tau foo @Krubong Try it out all uniquely Melaka food. Though I am originally from Melaka, I am not aware of these outlets you uncovered. By the way Cho cho in Melaka peranakan for Great grand mother.
