Instead of a micro usb charger port, it's a USB-C charger port. I found it the EXACT same otherwise.

It would be nice if you talked about these speakers not actually lasting anywhere near the 20 hr battery life. 20 hours only works at 1% volume. If you play it at max volume, which 99% of people get it for, that 20 hrs drops all the way down to 1 HOUR ( ONE - HOUR - OF - USE ). It's a really gross marketing lie manufacturers use. Nobody uses an outdoor speaker at 1% volume. Try it out. A brand new one Might last 2 hours, but even that is 1/10th of their advertised 20 hrs. It's a great video idea: do portable speakers really last their advertised time... if you don't make it, i will.

Um no, 99% of the people who buy bluetooth speakers do not play them at max volume. Many use them when they work, do chores around the house, etc. I'm lucky to eclipse 50% at any given time.

I think the smaller size of the UE BOOM 4 makes it a lot more practical than the MEGABOOM 4 to bring with you anywhere you go. 👩‍🎨

I have a soundcore 3 I love it but I use it for work and it's barely loud enough and the batteries not great when it's up all the way

Excellent review, I have two of these speakers. I have the JBL CHARGE 5 in red and I have two ANKER SOUNDCORE 3 one red and one blue.

They don't UE is underrated in my opinion. JBL has that name of you expect it to bring the sound but it don't , I work in the fields picking grape I play music on the wonderboom 4 "UE" and it's last more than 8 hrs on mix volume levels , on the other hand my partner she packs the grape she has a JBL flip and usually only last 5hrs .

I have the JBL Charge 5 and the sound quality is rubbish. It does have a big battery that lasts, and it's louder than the Wonderbooms, but the UE ones have better sound quality

Alans Ross checked that speaker. Problems with the DSP, congestion and saturation of the frequencies during various instruments. Seems is a mess for the price they ask for. Hope an update fix those problems.
