Crooked kingdom might be the best end of a duopoly I have ever read. I just loved the Grisha universe and Leigh Bardugo really brought it to life, it was just awesome.

A COURT OF MIST AND FURY was hands down my best read of 2016. It was sooooooo FUCKING good. I reread it more than 3 times. I'm tempted to get the Target-special edition version of the book for Christmas even though I already have the U.K. paperback. That's how much I loved it. Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom definitely take the second spot. I loved it so so so much. The rest of the Throne of Glass books, Heir of Fire to Empire of Storms, take 3rd slot. However there is one sequel I need to get to. A torch in the night. I loved An Ember in the Ashes and wanted to read the sequel. I have it but it has been sitting on my desk for months. Just picked it up now

Really happy to hear that you had issues with Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows that you felt Empire of Storms improved upon because I loved the first two novels and quite disliked the 3rd and 4th. Maybe I'm not done with this series after all. Also I need to get on to reading ACOTAR!
