People knew the earth was spherical since ancient greece actually. They conducted an experiment by looking at the shadow of a stick in greece and one a few hundred kilometers south. They found that during the same time in the day the shadow made a different angle. this angle would be the same angle between the center of the earth and the two points. this would only make sense if the earth was spherical

An easier solution is to tell them to explain how we have night time. If the Sun apparently according to them fools orbits the Earth then it either orbits around the edge or in a way where the Sun is under the Earth during its orbit and if it went around the edges of the Earth then it would ALWAYS be light but if it orbited in a way where the Sun could be under the Earth during its orbit then tell them to explain how at the EXACT SAME TIME on some parts of the Earth it is light and other parts it is dark as when the Sun is above the Earth then you should be able to see the light from all over the earth if it was flat but as a rotating spherical type shape that Orbits the Sun there will be one side facing the Sun and the other side is darker but flat earthers believe that ALL land is on one side of the Earth

The earth is actually a giant egg and if you dig down far enough you fall into an omelette paradise filled with chickens. The sun is just a huge yolk, and stars are just tiny eggshell pieces. The proof is very solid, as you can clearly see.
