As much as I like the 19th Century uniforms, the abundance of trolls criticizing them leads me to recommend that you close the comments section in these videos. People are very disrespectful of the guards.

To the ignorant tourists who mainly frequent Royal Palaces, they just see them as part of some sort of act, put on for their benefit. No concept of the role they play or the meaning of everything they do. Everything happens for a reason. Massive respect to our Armed Forces. I for one would not have the patience facing these uneducated savages on a daily basis.

its lance sergeant in the guards. but you are correct. his sash should have been perfect before he started inspecting others uniforms

@@raymondscott906 he is a Gold Sergeant, a Lance Sergeant wears White chevrons and No sash! Why do people get so het up about these things!

Sorry my bad. Had my watch on sleep so phone goes to mono so stripes coming up as silver. Now I've seen it in colour you are correct in sergeant.
