Are you an expert on owning lizards? If not I'd go with a leopard gecko. If you want a chameleon hope you know what you're getting into they are tough to keep happy and alive. Geckos are easier, is OK with handling where chameleons are more for watching. And geckos live longer well at least the leopards.

Soon getting a chameleon. Its a male panther nosey be chameleon for I have been told by an expert that Yemen's are aggressive. I am going to attempt a custom enclosure by following a very clever one on reptile forums. My sister has a beardie and a fat tail gecko so I'm used to everything but still never owned one myself.
