Again, you remind me of (a younger version of) my father who was an artist and loved nature. He was a very well-liked, easy-going man, yet he also would do whatever he set out to do, and he had a rugged earthiness about him, but he never swore. He always had a gentle way and an air of sophistication. He was very knowledgeable about many things, and loved to teach in much the same way you do... quietly, gently, calmly, by example ... I love your videos... They are so unique among all the others ... and they say so much... shhhh

Ric, I love how meticulous you are in every endeavor from campsite selection, to building your campfire pit, to organizing your gear and man, that landing net is a piece of art. Fast forward to April 2020 as we (most of us) are quarantining at home it's such a pleasure having you out there doing what we would love to do as competently as you. Right now i'm living my outdoor adventures vicariously through yours. Man, when this horrendous Covid-19 situation is over, God help us, my ass will be in my Jeep heading into a national forest with my tent, kayak and fishing pole.

The absence of verbal narration is quite enhancing, always leaving the watcher wondering what your next moves are, "what's he going to do with that?" "Why is he making this strange looking thing?". What's next for this?" And of course the result is usually something strangely utilitarian while at the same time, beautifully artistic.

Very soothing to watch without the chatter. The food I could smell cooking and it was delicious. I would not be surprised if a Sasquatch showed up for lunch. When you go far into the forest, when your phone is silent, it does not catch the signal, and the sleeping bag on the foam replaces your favorite bed! When your dinner is boiling in a black pot on a hot fire, and all your clothes are soaked through with smoke. You forget about all your problems, they simply do not exist, there is you and the silence of the forest! The silence from which is muffling. Your senses sharpen as you hear the wind, the rustle of grass, and leaves. The creaking of the trunks. At this moment, you feel that you are alive, you are alive now, you listen to your breath, your heart, Nothing can replace these feelings. You are cleansed of all that weighed on you yesterday. Just you and nature. And you're on your own. You're alive now, and that's all that matters. For this we go to the forest. To experience it, over and over again. Those who have experienced it will understand. Those who have not experienced it, still have everything ahead of them. Thank you for giving me this feeling. Thank you for making such content that attracts people to put on a backpack and go to wander along the forest path, your work makes people really happy. 👍My channel on You Tube is just starting to take shape. If you don't mind, please put a few likes and a couple of short comments.

For some time now, it began to seem to me that this forest is ultimately part of my “I”. I wandered within myself. Just like blood circulates through blood vessels. It turns out that I saw my own inner world in front of me, and what looked menacing in my eyes, in fact, was an echo of the fears that had settled in me. The web that entangles me is the web of spiders spread in my heart. And the birds that chirp overhead are raised by me. These are the images that were born and took root in my head.
