Fun Facts about Bhutan: 1) In 1947, a country that historically does not exist shows up on Bhutan's doorstep. That country is India. India came into existence like South Africa in which the colonist created the country and eventually gifted it to the people it once subjugated. 2) In 1954, India published a map of India that included Sikkim and Bhutan. 3) In 1975, India invaded and annexed Sikkim, a neighboring country very similar to Bhutan but smaller. 4) In 1991, India plotted to annex Bhutan using the issue of the Lhotshampa community as a pretext. The plot failed. 5) Today, Bhutan is militarily occupied by India. 7) Today the India map does not include Bhutan anymore, but the map of Akhand Bharat, a fantasy map of India fetishes by Indian nationalists, includes Bhutan. The map of Akhand Bharat is displayed prominently in the newly built Indian parliament.

I really appreciate you taking the time to provide such detailed information! It adds great depth to the conversation about Bhutan's history.

@@AlpGalipcy Thanks for your kind words. The biggest threat for Bhutan is India but the Western media is complicit in obfuscating it. Just to give you some more info, it is often said that Bhutan is the only country that its king imposes democracy on its people even though the people does not want it. That is true but the Western media never gave an explanation. The reason is Sikkim was gobbled up by India in 1975 using the pretext of democracy. At the time India used the Lhotshampa of Sikkim to stir up unrest and to agitate for a referendum in Sikkim. The people were given a choice of voting for democracy or voting for monarchy. The people chose democracy and India used that as a pretext to annex Sikkim. Bhutan's king forces democracy on its people is a preemptive move to prevent India using democracy as a pretext to gobble up his country. It's better to lose your power than to lose your country.

Wow i am impressive of your attention :) I don't remember which way i turned it. It should be on clockwise i think. During the shootings its possible to make mistakes like that. Because you concentrated on many things, time is limited and you are in rush. Thanks to share this
