Acrylic and alcohol and came make some interesting effects. In addition alcohol will remove acrylic latex paint from any surface even washed and dried clothing. Nice piece today!😊

Is the texture of the paper important? I am finding it hard to get the image to release.

It works best on smooth paper. I did have some success with Canson watercolor paper but not as good as the Rives BFK. You could try using a bit more sanitizer. Hope that helps. 😍
