Love your monochromatic designs! Excellent instructions, although I am one who finds background music distracting. I do like it for a few seconds as part of the intro, when used as a sort of opening theme. And BTW, that Tim Holtz paper doll was perfect.

What a great scene! Loving this stamp set!! I was a little "on the fence" about the oxides, but will now have to bite the bullet and get them..........my poor wallet!! :D JK - It's worth it just for the stress relief.

Yet another great card in this series! I guess I'm going to have to try some of the distress oxide inks. I have a small collection of the distress inks, I'm not sure how the distress oxide differs. I'm going to have to research this. Do you think having a collection of both is a good combination?

Hi Kelley, yes they are absolutely different. Oxides are more muted and more forgiving with harsh lines. You can also stamp with them and images are crisp unlike distress inks. I love mine and they play nice together.

they don't mix as freely as the inks...they sit on top of each other and it's a cool look...I like them for stamping too and blending backgrounds.
