Vik, use your leather to make a crossbow, and then get out the 31 scrap iron you have in one of your chests, so that you have 71 scrap iron. Use that iron and your wood to put reinforced spikes by the base of your ladder up to the roof, and reinforce some other spikes too! Btw, this series is REALLY awesome!!!

Vikk some tips from someone who's played it for a while: 1) Stay crouched at night and carry no smelly food as that keeps you from being sensed. 2) The 7 day(feral) horde isn't that bad if you stay on the roof and set up lots of traps, you should prep for that now. 3) Stop worrying about your temp so much, just keep it between 40 and 90 and you will be fine. 4) Make goldenrod or any other tea instead of plain water, its a lot better.

LBJace 900 The game is still in Alpha, meaning it's still in development. I've gotten the horde on the 6th night, 7th day, and 7th night before, so it could very well happen later, but it is programmed to occur at night. This has happened to me before and i'm fairly certain he spawned the horde at 22:00 on day 7 out in the woods and they were too far away to sense him so they're just sat there. Right now the game has a lot to improve upon as you can literally just spawn in the horde, drink some beer, and run away from 90% of it. But this game will be great once it's done. I've never gone without seeing a 7 day horde and I've been to day 49, so i'm sure he'll see one next episode...

Cameron Darcy No, it does get harder. You will get zombie cops later, those shoot radioactive ooze that damages you and run to you and can explode almost certainly killing the player. Also there are more mobs, more dogs, and more spider zombies. So yeah, it gets way harder, but you also get great guns like AK's and SMG's to fight them off. Oh yeah another thing Vikk doesn't do that's very helpful is to crouch when firing arrows, you get an eye that shows you exactly where your arrows go and makes it easier to hit headshots. Let me know if you got any other questions. I am good with random-generated maps but not the best at the navezgane(story) map.

Vikk i really love these series. Instead of making a house upstairs make a house unflderground (bunker) by making a cave and then a room underground because a bunker is safer than roof. There are zombies which can climb up. P.S. bunkers can be found. On the ground there are a small green house and a fence around it. Keep up the good work.

Some comments on the way you do things. 1. Generally higher level weapons of similar types do more damaged. However when you compare them when damaged the numbers are not accurate. so a 50% spiked club will be worse off then a 100% iron reinforced club of similar levels. 2 find a Born & Noble in that town. they are the Barns and Noble (its an american bookstore. idk if they have it in the UK) of that game. loads of schematics and books and recipes in there. the higher your scavenging level is, the more likely you are to get better schematics. 3. find a shotgun messiah in your town as they will be your source of gun parts and ammo. theres not much to loot in these stores. you will have a lot of crates to break before there is anything that is really good to loot so bring a fully repaired fireaxe. (btw the sawed off shotgun is one of the best cheap weapons in the game. when their is a hoard just bottle neck them in a narrow place like a door and fire away. high level shotguns (lv300+) often one shot if not two shot zombies. they also have spread damage so they can hurt more then one object at a time. they reload fast and the ammo is cheap and easy to make since the only other things you need that are valueable are iron and paper.) note that shotguns are not good for anything more then short-medium range. pistols dont do as much damage as shotguns but they fire a bit faster. however they only hurt one entity at a time. hunting rifles are amazing as they can kill almost everything in one go if aimed right but they reload slow and are not very useful in zombie hoards or hunting unless you are fast and accurate at noscopeing 4. find a pop o pills for lots of medical stuff like vitamins 5. for gun parts always upgrade to higher level parts when you can as they provide more damage. gun parts dont seem to degrade your damage as they get broken per say. however they do degrade your levels every time you repair it. 6. if you find multiple of a tool that is much higher then your current level, keep them if you can. every time you repair something that is higher then your level the item looses levels. (ex. you find a lv 110 wrench and a lv 75 wrench. and your current construction tools level is 23 keep both the higher level wrenches if you can as every time you repair them the levels will decrease until its equal to the category level that you have so eventually the lv 75 wrench may be better. this holds true for all tools and items with levels. even guns. 7. you havnt encountered this yet but if you ever go exploring in random places and find backpacks where they shouldnt be (tents, in the middle of a forest or in the middle of the road etc) loot them. they usually have very high level gun parts. even better then the shotgun messiah. 8. I saw you say you have recipes many times when you dont. basically if the book next to the recpies name is gray then you dont have it. if its white then you do have the recipes. the recipe color is not always the same as the name color. the name color tells you if you can make the item or not. 9. scrap down all items you dont want. for instance scrap down lead fishing weights and lead trophies to scrap lead. and cans, helmets, iron clubs, iron tools, and lower level gun parts, etc into scrap iron. and clothing down into scrap cloth. this way you loot more resources and get the benefits without it takeing up a ton of your inventory space. 10. lead is important for bullets when you get a gun and read the right schematics. brass is good for bullet caseings which all bullets except for the shotgun slugs use. store up as they are hard to find if you need them right away. 11. if you fancy upgradeing to a much better door (not that you need them anymore) you can try a vault door with 4000 hp without fortification. they are costly tho takeing up 4 springs and 20 steel. you can also make vault hatches as trapdoors which are a bit cheaper thats all I have right now.

Vikk i think you somehow managed to dodge the horde by being outside when night fell... usually the scream you heard at the start of night lets them all know where you are.. it doesn't matter if you are undetected when night falls.. and you can leave guns half assembled and close the window so they don't take up so much space... gotta admit i'm kinda disappointed that you didn't get to see what its like ... make sure your ready come day 14 i don't think you will be as lucky

**IMPORTANT** Vikk i think you have to restart sir! You can look into it but i am pretty sure that because you left game on or around day 7 you will never get hordes... there is/was a glitch. so it kind of defeats the purpose and really is not very fun to play without them :( If you do restart.. make the days longer. 60 minutes or so. That way you can cut out some really boring stuff like gathering resources but you can do a lot each day! Love your videos :)
