Some tricks I happen to think of while watching which could help you and Rob in future: 1. You can get iron from just about any rocks you mine, not just boulders. 2. Press "R" when looting if you want to take everything instead of clicking them one by one. 3. The base you are setting up is pretty sweet, but try to find bunkers in towns. (They look like little houses with fences as if they have a backyard, the entrance to the bunkers are in the house, which you need your pickaxe to break through.) 4. Utilise the map more, it's helpful for exploring and identifying buildings, caves, area to get clay etc. 5. When looting buildings, doors which are locked and reinforced with iron (which you need to use the pickaxe and fireaxe to get through) usually has nice stuff to loot from, like weapon crate, supply crates etc. 6. Bookshelves are good for getting schematics (recipes) 7. Loot corpses as most of them have ammunitions. 8. When looting, for example a crate, clear whatever is in the crate, therefore it will respawn after a few days. (Take whatever you need and throw whatever you don't need on the ground) Off the top of my head, these are some of the handy tricks which would help you a lot more as you and Rob progress. I love this series of yours and would love to see more of it. Good job so far with this series.

Ok, another set of suggestions (and the old ones you didn't use): 1. If you want to save resources by repairing tools instead of making new ones, do something else. Craft like 30 stone axes and wooden clubs, you can make them out of widely available materials. Since you don't need all of them, use them as fuel to your forge or camp fire. After that you'll have good axe, good wooden club, higher level in tool crafting and more experience points. Since most youtubers playing "7 days" are doing it I'd say it's acceptable. 2. Use bow and arrows more often. It's important to improve your archery skills and up the level in archery because zombies will be more and more difficult to kill. 3. Cook some goldenrod tea. It not only hydrates you but also gives you stamina. Coffee does the same thing. You don't have to use beer all the time. 4. If you don't have antibiotics you can use honey to heal the infection. 5. Loot more, almost every day. In a regular house search for the top floor or the basement, that's where you're more likely to find file cabinets etc. I remember that last time you found some decent things in the last row of houses in the northern part of the city. 6. Try to find another city with a police station, bookstore or any other store. You'll find a lot of useful parts and schematics there. If there's a tall building - you can camp on the roof through the night, it's fairly safe (you may also block open entries with wooden blocks). 7. Another thing about looting. No offence to Rob but since you have much higher level in scavenging you should be the one opening air drops and other important things (boxes, bags, safes, file cabinets) when possible. For example while looting houses he can loot the kitchen etc., at the same time you should go upstairs to check for schematics. 8. Try to make a fence/wall around the base made out of wooden blocks (two rows on top of each other) - about 100m away from the house. That's quite a lot of wood but it would reduce the chance of being sensed by zombies walking nearby (they just won't come close to you).

i enjoy this series :) thanks vikk and wolf. also a suggestion on this tactic loot the whole neighbourhood (hospital town): both of u decide which sides and before coming into the town, crouch try to remain undetected so day time isnt wasted fighting zombies. also stealth kills on animals and zombies give bonus points :) gather duck tape its key i heard in the long term :)

you should save your points for "quality joe" you need 60 to buy all 3 lvls of the perk at once will make a big difference in your looting... finding a cave/digging underground to find iron will help.. open trap doors for the walkways work well like in H3M
