What is the reason for ending this survival season?

Hi,the reason we ended as we did is because the goal was to find a quality 6 steel spear. Fun fact I actually ended the series the moment I found it but went back to record and show my final stats just for the sake of it. In my mind by the time I complete this goal is the time I'll have entered end game and would've shown everything I needed to show. When I first saw the size of the city I knew that this was either the end or it would be the second to last step to it. At the very least I thought this would give me the gyrocopter and i'd use that to scout the rest of the map,locate the wasteland and just guarantee top tier quality 6 drops at that point. It's also very possible that i'd build a dedicated home base where I would create a farm(I think my levels would be enough for t3 farming if I finished raiding the entire city) preferably in the pine forest biome for less zombie hustle,start pumping those health bandages and whatever beer I could so I could farm wasteland night time spawns if I wanted to or in general just to be on the safer side. I didn't expect to find it this "fast" and yeah,not too much more to show,I can now outrun bloodmoons,can practically only be killed in death rooms of T4s T5s which I am familiar with and it would be a whole a lot more mindless killing and looting which I've done plenty of already.
