Nice guide, i been playing the console version for six + years and because of the huge jump from console version (alpha 14/15) to 1.0 a video like this is realy helpfull. I am also looking forward for a skill giude .

Another great tip is to place blocks at each cardinal point on the excavation mission boundaries (North, South, East, West). When the area shrinks, you will be able to see where it is shifting, and you will have a very good idea of where to dig

I still think it's a great tip to loot the entire area of search quest or zombie-killing quest (or both) before starting the mission. Then, you start the mission and the entire area resets, allowing you to loot it again and get double the rewards

Thank you for the guide I just started playing and kept getting infected. Couldn’t figure out how to cure it as all the medical supplies I found didn’t cure infections. The tree stumps is a huge tip!

I would also recommend investing a skill point in 'Better Barter' from the Intellect tree; it unlocks powerful weapons in the early stages. I managed to buy a tier 2 hunting knife by day 5 or 6, and a tier 5 machete by day 16 this way, although you will need to complete at least two missions daily to gather enough money to buy these high-quality items

I REALLY hope 1.0 actually comes out on console next Tuesday. Fun Pimps are known for lying, so I won't believe it until I see it. But, God I hope it's true.

From what I hear is Xbox should be on time, PlayStation they are waiting for the official approval. When putting a game on the PlayStation store it has to pass a review.
