I was yesterday years old when I found out there's a way to get an endless supply of brass. Apparently you can smelt coins. I'm a harvester by nature, so I tend to end up with more coin than I could ever use in three lifetimes. Math works out to around 4 coins a bullet casing, which is about a quart the price of buying brass from the trader. Definitely feels counterintuitive to burn money, but then again, bullets are the real currency of the apocalypses.

There are a number of ways to handle vultures during a horde. Some people like putting a bunch of spikes on the roof, but there are other options. With a ceiling as high as the Cabin's, I would probably put some iron bars in the ceiling and if you see them up there, shoot them through the bars. Or throw a molotov at the bars and any birds that try to peck the bars in the next several seconds would catch fire and die. Sometimes I put a junk turret on the roof and point it at the bars, and it can take care of the birds. If it's only shooting at birds, and has a drum magazine, it will usually last the whole horde without needing reloading. Once demolishers start showing up, you probably won't want to use Junkie on those anyway.

About the Birds - maybe you can leave an opening on the roof and have a blade trap cover it, and put up iron bars. That way the blade trap kills most birds, and the ones that get thru are stuck behind the bars for you to pick off? Just an idea - cheers for the videos as always.

Just a suggestion for dealing with the birds. Put one of your junk turrets on the roof, aiming where the birds tend to do damage. As long as it's close enough to you, it'll kill the birds in a few shots. I do it on my base and works like a charm.

You need to expand the base in a way that allows you to fall back repeatedly and potentially have multiple sets of junky there at each fallback point so that you have backup. Use your bullets and explosives to clear hordes faster and even utilize some trap blades on the roof and by the entrances at each fallback point. I want to see you try and actually last in the endless onslaughts of hell.

If you didn't know, any mod you put in a tool/weapon adds to it's damage. Even if it seems like it doesn't apply to what you are doing. Putting an iron breaker mod in a fireaxe still increases the damage it does to wood. If you have a mod, and a tool/weapon with an open slot that can take it, put it in it. If I remember correctly it's also the same with turrets, put mods in them to increase their potential. Also with your last episode looting the shamway foods. To speedrun it dig under the tower outside to the center, and you will see the bottom of a crate, break through them, climb up the ladder to the loot. Beyond that you seem to not have noticed they added comparison values on the stats for equipment. You don't have to take mods out of equipment to compare as it does it from a base value for you.

You have to get your barter skill up for better stash inventory, then they will be more likely to sell a smg. My current game I have barter up to lvl 4 and just bought a lvl 3 smg for ~8k. If you can get power set up you could put a turret on the roof to take care of the birds, that could also give you a use for your 9mm.

Glock out here on day 25 with a concrete cabin doing hordes every night and I can’t even find a mini bike book. On another note I’d definitely watch the second channel, will miss the zombie but I’m good with change. One last thing, there are Thompson’s in 9mm, so they could add those to the game like how they have the .44 desert eagle, 9mm definitely needs a more end game gun to use it with.

Great episode but I said it before you need to spend a whole day mining and upgrading your base maybe after repairing roof you should either put some iron spikes on top or put iron bars laying flat on the roof over the concrete blocks. Aswell as iron bars inside laying flat on the bottom side of blocks may be over kill but birds would have to go through bars twice plus reinforced concrete. 1 last thing maybe put pts into better barter and try for the auger and better secret stash

Hey glock9 I thought I would tell you after using the same house as you in 7 days to die on a public server I wanted to have a safe room for storage like you but I went down in a different spot then you, if you stand in your doorway leaving the house where you put your hatch walk the opposite way of the doorway into the house at go 6 blocks you should be up against the wall dig down 15 to 20 blocks it’s a vary big ore!!

If at your front door you remove the porch and replace it with a low slope ramp than the Zombies will not pill up to the door as much as they do now. They will come more in a row giving you more fighting options at the door. I have that construction (inspired by this series) at day 53 now (2 vault doors) and i can fight them at the door all night.
