So who is Spartan-85? I'll start in the beginning. My earliest memories of playing video games was going with my grandma and my uncle (who had down syndrome) to the grocery store. In the back, they had a small arcade where my uncle and I would play games while my grandma shopped. We had so much fun playing games like Double Dragon,, Final Fight, Streets of Rage, Mortal Kombat, Donkey Kong, Mario, Galaga and so many others!
I got my very first console ever in the early 90's, the Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES. I remember having to blow the dust out of the cartridges because I played them so much. My brother and I would play super mario brothers and dunk hunt for hours.
Fast forward through the ages, I have owned almost every console there is, the NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S and the Nintendo Switch. Gaming to me is a way to forget the world and to hang out with my friends. Some of my fondest memories were playing online in Halo 2, where we had clans, huge clan wars, and just had an amazing time.
I really got started watching youtube videos of creators playing video games while working midnights as a police officer. It kept me awake and passed the time between calls and reports. My first big inspirations that planted the idea of starting my own channel were, Markiplier, Lord Minion777, Unspeakable, Ninja and Glock9. I really enjoyed Markiplier's style and how he played a very wide variety of games. I enjoyed Lord Minions multiplayer series and comedy.
The two biggest inspirations that got me hooked into 7 Days to DIe and wanting to start my own channel playing 7 Days to DIe were Neebs Gaming and Glock9. The actual game, 7 Days to Die is what I decided I wanted to focus on because I felt it was a mix of two of my all time favorite games, Fallout and Minecraft. I literally one day googled games similar to Fallout and Minecraft and 7 Days to Die came up. I started buying equipment on Ebay and Amazon and the rest is history!!
Things that I try to stay true about are always stay humble, treat everyone with respect, know where you started and how hard you have worked to get here, set an example, help others when they need it, be a blessing to others, and when you don't know what to do or what will happen, Smile!
I would like to see the channel morph into a wide variety gaming channel eventually, but 7 Days to Die still holds my heart. I still love making tutorials, and especially 7 Days to Die tutorials The next big game on my radar that I am super excited about is probably Starfied.

Great episode. I really love the hotel for early game start, especially if it has a pool. One note, those brown chairs are leather not cloth, so get as many of those as you can. They have sinks and toilets for cooking pots, water, pistols and turds. Medicine cabinets for meds. Two safes, refrigerators, vending machines, just everything you need early.

@@Spartan85sledge hammer maybe strong but that delay can kill you in this series I recommend you do the spiked club once you get it’s the best balance in terms of power and speed and it gives you a second chance to get another shot in :)

A small garden could help with aloe need. I know it's harsh out here but you could harvest bees and eat the honey. Better than starving but might not be worth the risk. Good job staying alive, thank you for the episode.

@Spartan85 Hair raising episode! Love it! Looks you might have a good foothold on this run through. As Ted said, I like the Motel for early game. The Motel or Ostrich Hotel at a crossroads makes it nice to get a good start early. Thanks for the exciting entertainment.

Cutting down cacti is great early game. You get yucca and plant fiber from them. Two birds one stone xD

Happened to me too in one of my vids with the zombie glitching through. I think it has something to do with upgrading a block while the zombie is in a hurt animation cause that’s the exact same way it happened to me lol 😂

Good on ya there Spartan forge is always a priority in hub as soon as able you've got a solid start going now.. lol don't be shy with them Barb Frames I normally keep about 50 on me at all times... great for a quick exit or crippling runners/dogs to crawlers.. it's about the fastest way of crippling a horde without pipe bombs... which are sorta cheap once your established like now good news about pipebombs on console they really don't damage much in the stone tier but they will eat away at anything wooden.. just Yucca(food) for thought 😂

Make a cowboy hat instead of hood. You get -10 degrees which helps with water conservation
