I'm betting OBS is dropping frames because it's getting overloaded trying to encode the high FPS. I think the command is settargetfps. Love the overhaul, cheers!

Have been having an issue with farm plots not growing produce, even with a rain catcher installed. As well as some of the achievements not tracking, such as placing a rain catcher or drinking from a lake.

I never use farm plots, i just use the hoe on the ground but the rain catcher doesnt generate water blocks anymore. Inside the rain catcher (very small hit box FYI so its hard to find the right spot) you fill it with buckets and it fills those buckets with water. Then I dig a hole every 5 blocks and fill it with water from a bucket and put the bucket back into the rain catcher and wait for it to refill. scrap iron hoe is unlocked with tool crafting 1 i believe so not like youre wasting a skill point or anything. Hope that helps. * EDIT also good idea to craft a scarecrow and place it near your farm plot blocks or just ground that you have tilled with the hoe. It keeps that chunk active so your crops still grow when youre away.

The issue I have with the scout is sometimes she don’t give me two rewards and sometimes she does. I do have the perk to get two rewards. The main trader always give me two rewards lol 😂

You might try a second GPU or onboard GPU for rendering from OBS. Would take the strain off the CPU while also not bogging down your main GPU, I know you have a few GPUs around. XD Cheers brother.

Onboard is the AMD Radeon, so that's a no go. I'll just switch over to using NVENC on the 3080ti. This was an experiment to see if I could ditch nvidia.

@@KhainesKorner 3080TI? Yeah that oughtta do it. I play DF on a RX 6400. XD I havent tried recording on V1.1 yet but i used libx264 encoder on OBS recording A21 with a ryzen 5 and got really good results.

Hey, I happen to love my AMD card. New machine output is looking good. Hmm...on 2nd watch, it looks like the new card may be dropping frames whenever it's trying to load new textures.

At 6:01 I'm sure that's Crystal Disk Info lol, I'm always using it and hate that tone hahaha. I had a similar issue with dropped frames in OBS, found out it was my Bitrate.

I have a problem with my FPS. When ever I went by a POI it would stutter and lag. So now when I start my game, I have to SetTargetFps 60 to stop it happening. So annoying.

Props for supporting AMD, but they are so behind on drivers and software support. I do graphic design work, 3D, unreal, video/image editing, AR/VR and some other niche software. Have to use Nvidia for compatibility reasons.

Thats because it doesnt work on the storage crates, which is intended. You need to use it on the DF lockable storage.

Amd is amazing at recording, I’m learning editing, and I have amd graphic and cpu, everything is at maximum resolution, recording at 1440 :) no issues at all, using amd encoder not cpu
