In my opinion, the best thing about G9 7D2D series is the first few days in game. How you start in this game shows not only experience and skill but just shows Glock really knows what he is doing and displays this for all. Truly a 7D2D legend. 👊

something i just learned in my recent playthroughs is that it's actually worthwhile early game to use a wrench on a few couches, as it gives all the regular rewards plus springs and sometimes nails.

Hey Glock, I mentioned this on the last series a couple of times, unsure if you didn't see it or thought it was a terrible idea... but I still think it's a good one :P You could keep the intro music rolling in the background as you introduce each episode for a more cinematic/seamless feel to your vids, then it can be used to lead into the next scene. (I edit vids for a living, not just plucking ideas out of thin air!)

Loving both of these series so much and I hope you keep having a blast making them both along with the Ark stuff too if you still have fun with it. Now here's a series I can get behind. I lived and fought from the same POI in an all-snow map for more than 50 days. It's too big for a claim block to cover it all by default, so you may have respawns in a tower every so often, but otherwise, it's pretty beefy. We ended up digging a moat around it, filling that with spikes, and using drawbridges, but then it was a team effort. Not sure I could have done all of that, myself. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. Good luck!

dude, with the loot luck you're having so far. you've gotta dive deep into Lucky Looter. double down on that. especially early game. and maybe try a tightrope base, set some plates or beams out and make a trail in the air that you can use easy as pie. but that the zombies will just fall off of and go back to the stairs for, and you just hang out and beat the brains in on them as they make their way up. and consider turning the main courtyard into a walled garden. you got the mushrooms and blueberry seeds. might be the 7days gods telling you to practice for the Farmer Glock series.

*** I've made a base out of the prison before. On top of the roof of the main building is a good spot you just got to customize it a little bit, and set up some walls. The only problem you have to worry about is zombies coming through the stairwell if they get through the door they can drop down onto it but there's measures you could take to prevent that.

Have you ever thought about doing a power level run where you grind xp from farming, mining and running forges to draw in screamers? It probably wouldn't be the best content, but is a great way to bring in the xp after an initial starting period to get all the food items, recipes and an auger

for locked safes you get lesser loot breaking them open as opposed to picking them with a lockpick, putting a point in the lockpicking skill will allow you to make them and also make picking locks a little bit easier, though that is a point you can spend into more immediately useful skills, still it is always a good idea to keep some lockpicks on you. since loot is set to never respawn you don't have to worry about missing some things and thus can be a bit more patient with your looting of locked containers (mostly safes and gun safes) and net yourself the better rewards for that patience.

Getting the bike as early as possible is a good point to make. I've disregarded the bike a lot, but when I got it it was such a game changer on being able to move around and collected what I needed.

So the big disadvantage to this base (there really aren't many) is actually the big cell block building. The reason is , although it is made of concrete, it's only one block thick. Much of the building is like that, but the problem is unlike the rest of the prison, you don't have easy visibility or standing room to fight the horde on that back wall. The zombies will easily get through the back of the cell block area. If you can shore up that weakness, and maybe put plates down on the ground to prevent spawns on the inside during a horde, it really is a very defensible position.

I use this as a base all the time. I build a ramp up to the wall, put traps all along it and stand on the other side at the watch tower. Once they break through I go to the top of the tower.

There are Running Shoes and High Performance Running Shoes. The latter is the one that helps with stamina loss while running. That college jacket you found pairs well with it as it boosts your run speed.

I always play horde every 3 nights and bigger horde just to accelerate the gameplay. I also crank up the exp and loot. After couple playtroughs, I just don't want to grind so much. On normal it takes forever to get nice fortress and high level. Also, land claim block allows you to pick up stuff you have placed which is really useful for base building.

There are two types of running shoes. One of them does have a 20% decrease drain of stamina. I always get them and wear them along with the letter jacket (for the 10% speed boost) all the way through all of my play throughs.

I had a thought the other day for a future series that might be a lot of fun, what if you started the game on top of one of the skyscrapers in the big cities? You start as a "crashed pilot" and start with a gun, level 1 military armor, some ammo, and horde every night, and you have to survive and slowly make your way down out of there?

For added difficulty you could do a series where you can only use the weapons from one branch. You can put points into the other branches. You want to use turrets? Only other weapon is the shock baton. You get the idea, but it’s a challenge for sure.
