You can always put points in advanced eng to get up to 50% of trap kills,also reducing crafting times and recipe costs

@@jacobruby4354 yeah, you gotta have it maxxed out to be any kind of useful. i use them just to thin out the beginning of the horde. they shit the bed, and i just shoot and use smg turrets. if i was expecting a lot of xp from trap kills, i would be super disappointed.

More engines in the generator means more power, so if you put a couple more engines in there you can use blade traps and fences

Hey Glock9! You do get XP from blade traps if you use a motion sensor camera. I believe you picked up a schematic for that in a previous episode... The blade traps are really useful! Don't stop using them lol

If you level up your advanced engineer perk you can start gaining xp from electrical trap kills. At level 5 you get 50% xp, so blade traps can farm xp fairly quickly.

Nice horde! Not as much fun as the last but a lot less stressful 😂 You're correct with the generator theory by the way, your power limit is the two engines, more would bump it up the output, same as adding batteries to battery banks.

You don't need another generator or battery bank for your fence posts. You can just add more engines to the one you already have.

Glock9, you can span long distances with the wire if you just hold the electrical tool crosshair over the thing you want to connect up and just click like you're connecting it up to the power. Just make sure your write isn't red and it will connect. Surprisingly it does work and span very long distances. I do it all the time, give it a try.

I don't know if this still works, but... it used to be that if you dug down to bedrock and carved out a room, you could put all of your "heat"-causing things down there and it wouldn't spawn in screamers and such. Maybe that was changed in an update, though... it's been awhile since I've played. If nothing else, your workshop would be almost completely safe down that deep, and you can focus on killing zombies up above.

You can get points from all electric traps by going to intellect, advanced engineering level 3 electrician. 20% XP from all electric trap kills. Level 5 gets you 50%. To get more power from generators add more engines. You get 50 per engine for a total of 300. Smg turrets would be your best use of 9mm ammo. those things are beasts. I have a channel with a video on electric traps if you want to check it out. Love the Vids. Keep it up!

yes 1 engine gives you an output of 50W in ur generator bank, so if you got 6 in there you will be able to have an output of 300W, you can also use your generators to recharge car batterys for your battery bank

The wire can reach if you stand close to the first fence post that you have the wire attached to and click on the one in the second one in the distance with the wire tool. It will reach all the way and be abnormally long and it’s definitely not intended but I don’t think it’s anything game breaking. It’s just a dumb little exploit if you don’t want to use a relay and spread out your fence posts more

Try and connect the electric post again without the middle post. Just stop before the wire gets red and aim at the other post. They reach alot farther then you think.

So with the electric fence posts. You should be able to get it to reach cause you have a downright dumb range with the tool. Look at the cable that you are trailing behind you and when it turns red go back till it turns black again. At that point you should be able to turn around and click on the post on the other side. Yeah, it's cheesy I know but you have a straight up dumb range with that tool. It's nice if you are trying to put lights up on the ceiling or something or doing Cheese like above lol EDIT: I think your fence post's are not working cause I don't think you put a power cable down to them from the generator. I could be wrong but I don't remember seeing you hook them to power. EDIT 2: Moments after I did the first edit he looks at said cable.... welp I was wrong lmao EDIT 3: You don't need a new generator just more engines in it. Each engine gives it more max cap.

you coulda made those wires reach btw, wires reach 15 blocks exactly. when the wire turns red, it wont let you connect. but stand back and look at the thing you wanna hook up to while the wire in your hand is black and it'll work
