after a decade in alpha it should've been finished years ago. It's not like a AAA title that needed that much time to complete cuz graphics & whatnot. Especially when compared to other early access survival games like Valheim that is way more polished despite having a much shorter dev time.

Don't forget at Better Barter levels 3, 4, and 5 a different secret stash is unlocked. So the traders now effectively have different secret stashes from when you checked last, even if their inventories have not refreshed yet. This also leads to the exploit some do with the nerdy glasses bringing your INT to the level to unlock one of those; using the skill point to unlock better barter and then taking off the nerdy glasses to have access to two different secret stashes.

I actually happened to buy my first property a townhouse at beginning of covid & it's actually kinda nice. It also has a lot of sound insulation between units so can literally shout across the house & neighbors won't hear you. Plus I don't have to worry about maintaining the outside of my place, no mowing, no cleaning gutters, no keeping it painted cuz property management covers that. Still I hear what you're saying & you're not wrong on most units. Still would rather have a condo or townhouse to a house with a yard & a lot of maintenance to deal with on the outside, I'm just too old & too lazy to deal with it anymore lol.

Townhouses are good if you're buying the whole building. You can live in one to get the tax break on the whole property while renting out the other unit(s). Works on up to 4-unit buildings. Plus, if you're not being a leech by shifting the entire mortgage to the tenets, you can pay them off very quickly then.

I share Glock9's concern with townhouses. I have seen one burn down with its neighbors also suffering from fire damage. However, I do believe the video depicts a "duplex," which is basically the same idea as a townhouse just to a lesser extent i.e. two instead of multiple residences.

Surprised on a lucky looter run not wanting the pipe riffle instead as you cant craft extra ammo so ammo efficient weapons I would think would be the way to go. Then again I don't have tons of experience in 7dtd but this series is making me want to boot back into the game and do another run.

Yeah, in the US the interior walls typically will only consist of 2 sheets of drywall (one on either side) and the frame. If you are lucky then maybe some insulation between the two.

In Albuquerque they're trying to change zoning laws to allow, you guessed it, more town houses and duplexes! Of course, tons of people are resisting that because... This mod is pretty much under the radar but you should give True Survival a look! It makes the game way harder and make you constantly make crucial decisions even as a veteran, made me go back to playing 7dtd after a really long time.
