I found that using the junk turrets is a mental trap. Either I set them up and run back to them or I tried to place them while running away from the danger. Either way I was trying to face the turret to the enemy. After thinking about this I now use them a little differently. The z is always going to keep coming at you so I now face my turrets towards myself. When running away it's way more effective to place the turret forward and run past it bringing the z into the kill box. Either way the turret gets a lot more useful when it's killing the z trying to kill me.

One of the things I really love about Alpha 21 are all the little things you get from opening doors and elevator doors. You have the sounds and the movement... when you open up the big doors of Trader Hugh, you see the bars slide and even the ring move as though being pulled. Also, wow, this POI went from zero to a hundred really damned fast.

Power strikes pierce enemies too. I'm using a spear with a weighted head mod, and it sends zombies flying. Find a doorway to funnel enemies through and its easy mode.

Here's a challenge: have a loaded tier 6 m60 on every slot in your tool bar, and your entire inventory full of 7.62. You can call it the try and hurt me challenge. (More of a challenge for the zombies). Oh and another challenge, do the same but with rocket launchers and try to complete the infestation POI without ever setting foot into the building.

This was absolute chaos from start to end... I'm impressed you survived that main loot room! I'm not a big fan of the POIs that force you to drop into a death trap, but that room seemed to at least give you space, and you used it well. The main one I don't like is the savage country POI that forces you to drop in from some steel beams, there's no room to move in that place.

That's an easy one to avoid at least. Drop some stairs on the left side of the building to get up to the normal exit. It also lets you get the drop on the sleepers in that small room that normally come hammering through the door.

With the spear changes, I have had to slightly change my initial target during those "oh shit" moments. Due to penetration, you should aim at groups that are chasing you at knee level. Almost every power attack to the knee knocks down most enemies. Slowing pursuit and giving you time to set up for the head shots. Since there is penetration on the spear, it can knock down 2 or 3 at a time. It is a pretty good strategy to escape to a clear fighting area

When I did this POI, I had two level 6 m60's with AP ammo, and all the explosives I could carry... except it was the freaking wasteland biome. Screamer shows up with her pet bears and her Rad possee. Fun times. Got an absolute metric ton of ammunitions at the end. What an absolute crazy and fun building. I can only imagine the type of POI's that are going to be in compo pack when it's out.

The fallen skyscraper was a pain. Not really hard but it took forever to find all the zombies. A lot wouldn't wake up so the compass wouldn't give them dots and they wouldn't activate unless i already was on top of them

I died 3 times the first time I went through the jail. I loved every minute of it. I got a little lost and didn't do they order they wanted it in, but if you're loaded with an auto shotgun and want to hide behind jail doors that 15 green glowing zombies can't beat through instantly, it's a treat.

I found barbed wire placed emass is good to cut down on their speed running as well as any jumping they might do. Gives the turrets time to shoot. Also one with AP and the other with shottie ammo. As for lead, actually it's pretty easy. Mark 'em on the map and use rock buster with an auger.

The wife and I LOVE the new tier 6 infestations.. so much fun! You had just as many screamers as we had, in about the same areas as well lol. When we pushed the button in the garage, I thought that was an outside horde that had gathered, so it was cool to see it was actually a part of the POI. The downside to some of these tier 6s we found was that some are so big, and sometimes the Zs don't load until you're super close to them, so sometimes we had to walk away before a full clear as you just couldn't find the last few and they wouldn't show on the compass. I wish that was fixed. Other than that, they are great fun and such a challenge! Love the vid. I'll watch it again with her in the morning when she wakes lol. Keep up the awesome content dude! I like to build a simple defensive structure to fall back to when doing these POI's. Just some elevated bars that I can reach with parkour. Makes everything a lot easier. Run ahead. Wake up a bunch of zombies. Fall back to defensive position. Kill zombies. Repeat. I usually carry 20 concrete blocks and that is more than enough to get me through building 4 or 5 defensive points to fall back to. Would work really well with your junkie too.

Holy the amount in that lobby lol when I do T6 at the high school I speedrun through every trigger point, then run circles around the building while taking them out. I've discovered that it's the fastest way to clear that particular T6, especially when using the .44 with AP and penetration.

After doing the Navezgame Corrections as a T6, and seeing what you had in your inventory, all I could think was "Hoo boy, this is going to be a wild ride!" Especially if you're trying to rely on your spear! You get overwhelmed way too quickly with all of those group triggers, and you've really got to find a door to hide behind. Well done!

First thought on the opening scene: About 500 shots? Really? Every one will have to be a precise headshot with sneak bonus damage... He will never ever make it! Some minutes later: Only the third big encounter and already more than half the muni and nearly half the HP gone... He will never make it, does he? Fourth encouter: Down to 1/3 HP, nearly no ammo left for the heavy machine gun... (21:20) WTF?! (24:10) WTF II - completely reloaded and with surplus! Unbelievable :D I know that i will not do those quests without a load of bombs or even rockets. No way to get that level of reaction! :D But that adds to the fun i have watching other people doing such crazy things :D

Recog, an M60, impact grenades, and plenty of 7.62 HP ammo are your best friends in Tier 6 infestation quests. You'll usually recover the ammo you used, or its value, from the quest loot at the end; especially the infestation crates.

It does help prevent a lot of mistakes in the early game though, say you wander into the shotgun Messiah factory out of curiosity in the wasteland because you’re just passing through to get to the burnt forest trader but get almost insta killed and struggling to get your loot back. If you know how many red skulls there are then you can be a little more aware of the danger of going into it

Closed doors and hatches. LOADS of hatches. And as you can imagine also be armed to the teeth. Cell doors in both facilities have 7k HP so you can actually lock yourself in one cell and bottle neck them that way and mow them down. Just make sure you have enough ammo / is reloaded for tactic.

I tried the tier 6 corrections facility. Was actually really easy. That correctional facility had a lot of easy chokepoints where you can just throw and hatch down and melee away. That plus the stun baton mod that throws them and some nerd tats. Piece of cake.

Hear me out, I attempted to do the tier 6 infestation quest on the EXACT SAME poi and the EXACT SAME biome you were in. On top of that, I played on INSANE NIGHTMARE difficulty along with FERAL SENSE enabled. I can tell you that my experience was absolutely more horrific than yours. Yes, I had to resort myself before I even tried to attempt the quest. My first preparation was to bring a whole stack of 7.62 AP bullets along with a fully modified m60 with 6 slots thanks to the mod that increases it. Along with my fully modified smg-5 and drum shotgun for the action. I also brought some fort bites and recog to have the damage mitigation and increased range damage. Luckily, in the end, I managed to secure the loot and finish the quest. The CRAZIEST part is that there are way more and harder zombies to deal with than a typical 7000th day horde night. Also had some encounters with screamers that were spawning in the same area. All I can say is that experience is no where as CLOSE as shown in this video. In some instances, its nearly impossible to do that especially with the difficulty I played on; basically like Darkness Falls on steroids but vanilla. Love your videos Glock! :)

I'm 90% sure some zombies don't spawn in until you hit certain trip wires. I did a tear 5 infestation and cleared the area until i hit a specific point. then several spawned behind me (very certain they weren't from the ceiling or walls. It was the finale area of the Nursing home. once I turned the switch to turn off the fire to the main loot, it was mayhem all around me

I tried this poi over the weekend. Didn't go so well. I came so close to death right at the beginning, but somehow survived. I managed to get to final room, only to be killed, though. I've never seen so many zombies in this game. It was nuts, and obviously annoying as all hell that I failed the quest. I went in stacked, too, with a tier 5 assault rifle, tier 5 steel club, tier 3 mp5 or whatever it is (not the best, but not terrible either.) Also had fortbites, recog, so much ammo and health, but that last room got me.

I feel like the most dangerous thing while doing tier 6 is the screamer,especially if there are more than 3 players,cause the spawn rate when you’re firing guns has apparently increased.(I’m not really that sure) So while you’re doing the mission,the screamer can easily spawn nearby. Last time while I was doing tier 6,a screamer just spawning tons and tons of zombies and more screamers,and we couldn’t even got out to save our lives.

This was the hardest quest I have done. The longest time from start to finish in 3 years of playing. The worst part was, when I found the second cell area, I thought it was the first one which I had already gone thru so I went around. Then thought I had done everything , but the quest would not end. I kept looping the whole groundsd, and I finally realized that I needed to go into the second cell area and OMG, they just kept coming and coming at me. I was so lucky I am very OCD and fix my weapons continously. Did Not Enjoy it at all!

its nothing special. the reward at the end of the poi is much more significant than the quest rewards. you'll get the usually dukes and xp along with being able to choose 1 of 4 rewards which by that point tends to be pretty underwhelming compared to the gear you already have.

haven't watched this yet, but I can say from experience you didn't take enough ammo. I'll edit this after I finish watching to see if i eat my words Edit: I was right he didn't bring enough ammo, but he kinda cheated and avoided a significant portion of the zombies before going to the loot room. That said was a good watch and you should definitely do the infestation corrections facility like you did for this video. sure do it after you start locked down, but I promise its just as much fun. As a side note, i find its best to do this poi with a stack of explosive arrows and a compound bow. makes the loot room pretty easy to manage and as long as you bring two stacks of ammo for two good guns you are usually fine doing the county jail. I also find its smart to switch from first aid bandages to just carrying a full stack of med kits once your start getting into the tier six infestation quests.

You should go through the shotgun messiah factory cause they've updated it a bit. I think you might need a quest to go through it properly because I tried without a quest and I kept hitting locked doors with an inactive switches to open them so I'd have to break stuff to get through.

I did about 12 Tier 6 Infests on Survivalist difficulty. I would highly recommend it, the sheer number of zombies is just pure madness. I think at the time I got there I was at game stage 110 or so.

I went through there one like day 4 of my first a21 playthrough. Set my base up in a field across from a trader and the jail was to my side by about 100 meters. I just thought back to doing the old T5s day 1. Anyways, huge mistake, stealth is nearly impossible in the new jail and the mass of wights at the end that early in the game was no joke. I had to nerd pole back to the roof. I was doing it at maybe level 9 or 10 with a bow and pipe weapons, and maybe a few mollies and pipe bombs that I got from quests. Totally doable, but good God it was a nightmare.

i dunno bout anyone else but i read every book i find and if they are done i sell them and the 1-7 books i read then sell the read ones.makes nightmare mode sooo much easier and leveling as well for better tier items.(medic books give better heal factor btw)
