Currently can be found in clothing piles where you used to be able to also find other mods and armors, So don't ignore those just cause ya can't find clothing anymore!!

I just finished my own first horde night and DAMN was that a difficulty tweak. Had to repair my AK twice, hunting knife twice, went through over 300 ammo, and leveled up 8 times. It was both absurd and amazing.

@@Caspian4494 yea, hit up a tier 3 military outpost and got lucky, despite 0 points in machine guns at that time. Took ages to clear with a primitive bow and pipe pistol.

@@NotAGamerGaming Yea, it's a wild surprise from the early horde nights in earlier patches, but a welcome one. And with zombies now streaming in through the night, it's almost like it scales with you? Since the faster you kill, the more you face.

That worked out pretty decently :) I usually play set to 12 concurrent zombies per player, and often play co-op (so 24), so I didn't think it would hold up as well as it did. The plates were definitely a good call :)

It's ok to hate the spider zombies. There is a mod called "No More Spider Zombies" that changes them into aggressive chickens. :)

I think structural stability will be fine with your base but just remember that the bottom block is wood under those 4 support columns - at least I think it is wood. If they are, they could give way under further weight.

Ive just played my first horde night on a bridge-base with mainly melee weapons. Had to get the Zs out from under the bridge a few times - it needs tweaking. I have nowhere near as much food as you but otherwise pretty well equipped. I like the new all-night horde!

since version 1.0 upgrading is best done from bottom to top. to prevent collapses. i had the same thing done to me. Daphy you can reduce the level of gear you can make by clicking the arrows next to the craft menu.

Take a look at crafting levels...when you didn't have the Legendary Part for the Tier 6 Armor you gave up on it. Use the arrows near the icon and you can drop it back down to a T5 or whichever you'd like. This was an A21 change, so I think you missed it.

You can now lower the level of anything you can craft. So just because it says you can craft a level 6 you don't have to. Just use the arrow under the item to lower it to a level 5. Save the legendary parts for the good stuff!

What I hate is that the TFPs added a mechanic that makes all zombies 'dodge' out of the way if you *AIM* at them. Most noticeable with Vultures, chickens and rabbits. But they do it even when they can't SEE YOU. Which is what REALLY pisses me off. It's not all the time but it's frequent enough to be insanely obnoxious. And I believe, this is what makes 'zombie-proof blocks' effective, cause they are blocks you can fire through but zombies have a hard time hitting... I noticed it added way back in A17 And it's only gotten more obnoxious over time. It makes this type of horde base (Which I use a lot of with much variation) not effective at all for arrows. Crossbows don't take as long to aim so it's easier with those.
